Location was good.
Room was in dire need of paint and updates. Pillows were paper thin and beds were not any better. Additional costs/deposits for everything, including the remote control and leaving luggage for 2 hours past check out. Overall, value for money was not there.
Worst bed mattress.
Location was excellent, room was good size and clean, wifi worked, breakfast basic. Great value like for short trip.
We were located in the basement with window. We got few bugs in the shower after night but water did the job.
The staff was great.
I didn't like anything. The rooms smelled. The locTion was alright for tube access. The room was very dirty tv didn't work and they required a 5 quid deposit for the remote and it still didn't work. Had to checkout. Couldn't stand it any longer.
Proximity to underground stations. Proximity to Hyde Park. Comfortable beds. Warm croissants at breakfast. We spent all of our time out, just used the hotel to sleep & it was perfectly adequate for this.
Would have liked maybe some meats & cheeses at breakfast. Not all sockets in the bedroom worked. Wi-Fi was not available throughout the building - could do with some boosters. No hot water, for more than a couple of days stay this would be a bit of a problem!
1) Location to London Eye and Zoo and many other attractions, all easily walked; 2) Great Value; 3) Great breakfast; 4) Nice rooms and very clean.
Blanket too small.
- very helpfull staff - at breakfast you can eat whatever and how much you want to - close to tube station
- dirty sheets - dingy shower curtain - cockroaches in the shower - sewer smell in the hall - threadbare mattresses - malfunctional sockets - creaking floor - you've got to pay in the check-in moment (I've always paid at the check-out)
Dirty room Noise from other guests No TV remote Kettle not working En suite tiny and in poor condition
-Breakfast very short, without variety; to ask for coffee, no good to tell you if you want. - The room we got was a basement with no view, leaky (we had to change the room). - People with fair attention. - Tube is hear at night when it happens.
Room was weird with 5 beds for 2 of us shower didn't work and 5th floor with bags because the elevator was broken.
Staffs are sarcastic and rude
Disgrace to booking.com
Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast included. Staff very helpful. Excellent location. We will be back!
They had trouble with our room and took initiative to book an alternative one in the hotel opposite and paid the extra cost for the upgrade
I didn't get to see the hotel itself and would of liked to stay there as I prefer character to corporate
Location was handy with easy access to Hyde Park and Queensway or Lancaster Gate tube stations.
Continental breakfast was very limited - reheated croissants and toast. Staff were friendly but not very prominent or efficient. Very cramped room and general lack of 'creature comforts'. Beware the slippery bath if you take a shower!
The facility is very poor. Bath too small not flushing, TV too small fixed on wall tilted up, have to pay for remote.
Rude unhelpful staff, dreadful breakfast, very dirty room.
near the bus
location staff clean rooms and bathroom price
breakfast could be improved and shower bit of a squeeze tv very small and difficult to see from where it was situated
The great location near the tube, shops and restaurants and across from the park
Lacks Cleanliness, especially need to change or deep clean carpet and curtains. Lots of stairs to the bedroom which is hard when carrying cases. No internet service available in room. Breakfast was a few slices of bread, cornflakes and a choice of either bad coffee or nasty tea.
the hotel location
the unprofessional treatment of the staff and administration, the lack of necessary facilities.
A good value for money hotel at excellent location in Westminster. Many bus routes go through the near bus stops and there is a tube station (Bayswater) at walking distance, as well. Breakfast is included in the price of the room.
The cupboards in the room were full with rubbish from previous guests of the hotel, the bathroom floor was slippery, no shampoo was provided, only soap and the ventilator was not functioning properly. Staff was not very knowledgable of the public transportation routes to the sightseeing places of interest in central London. No lifts, as well, and our room was on the top floor.
Very good for the price. It was small but very comfortable and a really cute balcony.
We saw a few cockroaches on the balcony, but otherwise it was perfect.
The Staff were very friendly
No Telephone or remote for the TV. I had to ask for a hair Dryer, Iron and extra towel as there was only one towel in the room.
Not a lot! Ok location and easy to find. The staff we saw were friendly.
The room was very small and very hot which made it uncomfortable. The bathroom smelt and was not very clean, also the shower was of very poor quality. We only had two plug sockets in the room one of which did not work properly. The breakfast Menu was extremely limited and not very appetising.
