No lift. Had to change rooms mid stay at the hotels request. Moved to ground floor despite specifically asking not to be. No view from window.
Dreadful breakfast. Warm juice, warm milk, poor choice, inefficient toaster, butter melted completely out of wrapper. Tasteless, uninteresting food, and poor service.
Everything you need (except a remote control). Comfy and warm. Lovely balcony. Great location.
lack of lift poor breakfast
location and easy access to buses
Breakfast was croissant and toast. Which for the money was fine.
The room we had was great. Very clean. Also the hotel was very close to the tube station.
No wiFi in the room
Beds a little on the small side.
Really excellent value for money. For a budget hotel, it was reasonably clean and very quiet. It fitted all of us in one room - great!
The lack of lift facilities are a draw-back especially for elderly people
A good level of cleanliness is kept in the hotel, hospitable staff and a fairly good wi-fi in the room
small room not that clean very noisy from other rooms a little expensive room needs a lock or chain unless you are on a budget you may want to look around.
the reception staff were pleasant location is OK north London
little bit small
good location, close to subway and bus. not big but enough for short stay. shampoo provided. warmer works well. clean.
We had a triple room
it is very near to many interesting places and underground station. nice and helpful staff .
Nothing at all not to like
We liked everything about our stay from booking right through our stay for a couple of weeks this was an absolute pleasure the staff test you like family it's great.
Powercut due to flooding in lower level. Attitude of reception staff. Poor quality breakfast. Noise of other residents.
The plug in the sink stuck in the closed position so I had to empty the sink with a cup before I could get it open. The shower was rusty and had little power. Probably because of the rust. The shower rail was rusty too. Hardly any lights in the room
The staff were very helpful and accommodating especially when we wanted to store our luggage. The towels and bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price it wasn't too bad
does not have an elevator signal of wifi cannot be found everywhere in the room. Does not have a restaurant
the room is clean and has a tv
I have stayed here several times and there's not been a problem until now. My room this time was in a noisy corridor behind reception (you won't believe it until you experience it) and when I mentioned the noise to the man on reception the reaction was "what do you expect me to do about it? The hard floor magnifies noise, there is no mechanism on the doors to stop them slamming and I can't change the way the place is built". The attitude was like something out of Fawlty Towers, which was a shame because all other staff I've met at the hotel have been charming. The very rude member of staff was on reception on the evening of Mon 2 February.
The location is excellent
the reception lady seems not so warm as usual. I don't know why shouldn't she keep in a good mood. the bed is a bit bad. The place for shower in the bathroom too too small, even though there is a guide to put the curtain in the tray, it's really very un comfortable. they should redecorate it!
the location is near the metro, it's good.
The heat. The beds. Dirty bedding. Doors didn't lock properly. Some staff were unwelcoming.
Staff were rude, it was dirty and smelly. shower didn't get hot. Room was up 6 flights of stairs with no lift or assistance. Broken wires hanging out the floor and the worst thing of all is the TV didn't work and with 3 children in a room to entertain was not good.. Oh and the wifi didn't work. Was the wrist hotel we have ever been too.
It was in a good location near the underground and Hyde park
not much variety of breakfast, unable to access wifi in rooms, staff didn't seem very friendly.
Was very close to underground and opposite to Hyde Park.
No elevator, no wifi at the room.
Staff were rude, carpet dirty, bathroom terrible, breakfast very bad
Location was good & reasonably priced
I cant connect to the wifi in my room which were really annoying
No doubt its the location. So close to practically all the main attractions in london
Tired looking venue. bedroom had loose tiles, decor looked ruby, beds and floorboards squeaked. Poor shower power and sink was old looking. Breakfast was OK (have the tea the coffee was vey poor). I would not return to this venue
Convenient location near a tube station and 1km from Paddington station, most staff were polite and friendly
I need a quiet, clean room at first floor, and some exctra pillows. But I cot a fiulty room at 3. floor.I was very hard for me to walk up and down thoose stairs. And it was very much nouise at night, and people was smoking hasjis....strong smell. When i try top talk to the staff and said that i want some of my money back she just smile. It's not about the money but the dicent thing to do. I hade to go the hospital and stay there fore longer time than planned and i'm walking with crythes I feel that King "hotel" owe me something, and i'm not letting this go. I have been coming to London every mounth for 5 years and this is the dirthiest, worst "hotel" i ever have seen.
Nothing. The staff was roud and offer no help.
