Ideally located for tube and venue. Basic room, but clean.
Rooms not as expected so we had to be moved. Double beds should have been twins. 1 room was in basement, no outside window so we kept the curtains closed. The other room was in need of upgrade. The staff were unable to communicate and were unattentive. The toaster didn't work and you had to lean over the bread to get a cup and saucer. Small detail but could have been so much better. The price we paid reflected what we got but we have stayed in much better for the same price. Sadly, we wouldn't stay there again :(
friendly staff nice breakfast excellent location
room is a bit small
Nothing except the location which is very near to Bayswater and Queensway tube station.
Everything! First I've booked the room 2-3 months earlier. Arrived before 2pm to check in (I knew we couldn't but I just arrived early), put our bags (no storage whatsoever) just put it in the lobby, asked about our room, said everything is fine, it's on level 4. Went looking around London for a while, came back at 6-7pm to check in, they said there was a problem with our room and didn't even apologize at all. Just a very arrogant staff saying we got two separate rooms now on two different levels
The room was clean and beds very comfortable.
Not enough tea and coffee/mugs for the six of us staying! Couldn't get wifi in our room and the tv had no signal.
No stairs Not much choice of breakfast Having to pay £5 for the remote Cleaning could be better
The location, it's within walking distance of tube stations and right beside Hyde park. The staff are friendly too :)
The room was small and cramped for 3 people, 3 single beds all very close together, the tv couldn't be watched from the 3rd bed. You have to pay £5 deposit if you want the tv remote. Don't go to this hotel if you have mobility issues - no lift.
Nice and convenient location near Notting Hill, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, underground stations and Oxford Street, rooms clean and comfortable, coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Generally, I haven't expected that much for such a low price.
Small bathroom, limited choice of food for breakfast (but still, everything was fresh and tasty and cofee was great), additional fee for card payments.
Room freezing cold no heating huge gap in the window to outside carpet sticky someone had tried to boil up what looked like coffee in the kettle cockroaches in the bathroom breakfast wasn't continental and you had to put the bread through the toasting machine 8 times! Had to wait a long time for a pot of tea to come and it was like dishwasher! I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy it is horrendous!
Close to the underground and Hyde Park which was practical.
However, we found bed-lice on the mattress of the bed and when we confronted the staff they tried to act like they were surprised but it wasn't a convincing reaction. All in all, we were not impressed with the hotel!
Location and price. Big room, very quiet Not luxurious, but great value for money Breakfast adequate, in line with price.
could not turn off the radiator, very warm. Shower water warm and useable, but not hot.
Location and value for money
The room size was poor Breakfast you had to go and look for and there was only breads no fruit or cereals
Tiny room for two people.beds were not real beds.there was not any space for our luggages, for us to walk or to get dressed between the two beds.breakfast was the poorest breakfast we ever had.the woman at reception at the time our arrival was impolite.they were not clear on how they were gonna get paid.
There was a cockroach in the room, staff did not seam overly concerned when I informed them.
It is very easy to access from the tube and close to Hyde Park
Room was very small and the window was to an interior storage space. Breakfast very limited.
The only good thing in this hotel is the area which is located.
The staff was very rude, the breakfast included only slices of bread with butter and jam,the rooms were cold without heating. We stayed 4 days and the room service not even changed our sheets. Not recommended at all
Bathroom floor dirty and no signal on television
Comfortable clean room with hair dryer and tea/coffee etc. Lovely hot croissants for breakfast. Very easy walk to underground and Kensington Gardens. For the price it is excellent.
Big comfy bed very clean, free wifi, helpful staff, no fuss checkin, adequate breakfast, good location.
location and price were great and convinced me to book
Cockroaches. No response from hotel about complaint. Charged us to keep bags in storage.
Close to kensington garden/Hyde park
Reception Room in very poor condition Bad breakfast Extra fee by paying by credit card, 2.5 % of the amount
Poor cleanliness, mold to curtains, carpet was sticky, empty beer cans in the draw, cleaner opened door when we were asleep and not much in way of breakfast
location, clean, breakfast, the saff were kind and educated
wifi didn´t work
there was NO ELEVATOR free wifi is only at the breakfast room the breakfast was unacceptable, only bread& jam There was NO luggage room the mirror was cracked in the room
Location to the Underground, local restaurants and money exchange locations close, grocery stores and across the street from Kensington Park. Staff was friendly and service was good.
Breakfast was sparse with very little choice, but at least there were warm croissants and hot coffee. Room was cold with only a small electric room heater.
