Staff were very helpful and everywhere was clean and tidy. Near to tube so not far to carry luggage. Good location Insufficient seating available at breakfast., Rooms had not been checked thoroughly - tv did not work or hairdryer and were not fixed during stay. There was no plug in bathroom washbasin. We were offered another room but on a different floor which would not have been convenient with children in other room. |

The hotel was really nice. Lovely location, helpful staff, good breakfast. The room was very nice and clean. There was no lift but we had a room on !st floor so that was not a big deal. |

There was nothing I liked about my stay at this Hotel, it was more like a Hostel and I was very surprised and how dirty and run down the place was. I didnt like anything. The carpets of the stairs where dirty, there was dirty laundry on the stairways and corridors everyday left by cleaners. The bathroom was dirty and I didnt even want to take a shower as the curtain was so brown and filthy. The whole place looked like it was falling apart and run down. |

£45 per night in central London in these times is great for keeping business expenses as low as possible. There are good reasons for this hotel being cheap however. Being on my own and not caring about decore etc there are no problems, though this is a tired hotel and a bit shabby. It was however, clean. I had to pay cash as I was told that the visa machine wasnt working. I was told this on arrival and after two nights it wasnt fixed. I think this was more about their cash flow rather than a problem with a machine, particularly as I notice from other guests previouse comments that they had been asked for cash. I am a business traveler who pays expenses on a credit card and is reimburesed by the company before the credit card payment is due. To have to pay cash in very inconvenient; for this reason alone I will find it hard to stay here again unless I am unable to find anywhere else. |

It's proximity to central London, the Queensway wommunity around the corner, but to be honest there was nothing about the hotel which was commendable. Except after the first of the two nights we stayed there we asked to be moved to room on a lower floor and the staff did find us a room on the 2nd floor. Put on the 4th floor and to have to climb 91 steps to got to the room. The stair carpet was really shabby, some of the stairs were positivley dangerous. the breakfast was nothing to write home about, the facilities in the room were non existent. But after going down the 91 stairs I managed to get coffee facilities brought to the room. The shower was awful. |

The walk up all the stairs to room 36. The rooms were nothing like the rooms on the website, the television was older than me with hardly any working channels, the only chair was broken, no plug in the sink. Card machine wasn't working so had to run around to find a cash machine at half seven in the morning. |

Staff friendly helpful and efficient. Continental breakfast plentiful. Reasonable rates and a good location. Taying on the fourth floor and lack of a lift made it difficult.(we are in our late 50's) .had to pay cash, unable to take cards. |
