Clean. Big room with a nice double bed which was a surprise for a single room. The staff were polite and helpful. Parking was available on the seafront outside the hotel for one pound and hour/ nine pounds a day or at the hotel for fifteen pounds a night. The breakfast was good. |

I can not speak highly enough of the staff at Kings Hotel- they were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in a great location with city centre within walking distance and the beach across the street. My room was very well presented, comfortable and quiet during the evening. Really enjoyed my stay at Kings Hotel. |

It was very central for all the facilities in Brighton - ie shopping, beach, restaurants etc. I would definately recommend it for short stays and city break. The breakfast lacked imagination and variety and the service given was just O.K! |

It was in a good location for the seafront, shopping ad the Brighton centre. It was overpriced at £139/ night, The TV in the room had poor reception and minimal channels. there was a big brick wall half blocking the window in the room and bathroom, the shower was more like a hose, and the blind in the room was broken. Very disappointing. |

All the hotel rooms are non smoking but the room we were originally allocated had definitely ben occupied by someone who had been smoking in the room. We phoned down to reception and they were more than happy to move us to another available room which we were very impressed about as we did not even have to ask. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The room was very adequate and tidy. It was a great benefit to have free wireless broadband but I do believe that it may not be available to all rooms. The breafast was wonderful, very quick and a good choice too. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard in the reception, bar and dinning area. As the hotel is located right on the seafront it can be a little noisey at night with traffic and people but that is to be expected for the location. We stayed in the week so would probably be noisier at the weekends. It was great to have a sea view, even from the side of the hotel where we were, and has great access to the beach, the Brighton Centre and the shops and restuarants. I found the prive very reasonable too, considering its beachfront location and with breakfast included. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 night stay there and would definitely recommend the hotel to others heading to Brighton. It would be great to have more parking available as I parked at the closest NCP which cost £15 for 24 hrs but this was the same cost as the hotal car park but just would have been easier to not have carried my luggage so far. I don't think this would be easily resolved due to its location. |

The reception staff were very welcoming and attended to my needs with a cheerful helpful attitude The internal decor throughout was tired and in need of a "facelift". |

upon entrance, the hotel looks quite impressive for a 3 star, then you get upto the rooms and are sorely dissapointed!!!, the rooms are extremely small, with 4ft single beds as a supposed double?!?!?!?!wouldn't stay here again!!! |

Personally I was utterly shocked and horrified at the lack of standards, false advertisment and rip off that this "hotel" is.Having done a lot of travelling over the years i would consider The Kings to be an average hostel.I would never recommend this hotel in fact will be letting people know about how cheap and tacky it is.In their owners efforts to make the place retro it is tacky and very cheap looking. the damp makes the rooms smell the bathrooms have not been updated since 1970. You wait 20 minutes for the hot water to come through. Breakfast is not included but is served cold any way. Tea is served in a mug from a thermos flask at your table. The first room that we were given had a window opening onto a wall, very pleasant. For £104.00 could have stayed in travelodge wwhich whilst having not much character is clean and professional. |

Clean, quiet and centrally based. Staff were very accomodating and pleasent. Room was lovely. Right on the seafront. Price could have been better, but then again it was a weekend in Summer so can understand. |
