Niché dans le cadre superbe des paysages du Perthshire, cet hôtel à la gestion familiale se trouve dans le magnifique parc national du Loch Lomond et des Trossachs. Ce Bed & Breakfast propose un hébergement confortable et convivial. Les chambres, à la décoration chaleureuse de style cottage, sont dotées d'une salle de bains privative. Certaines d'entre elles disposent de luxueux lits à baldaquin. Un menu traditionnel écossais est servi dans la confortable salle à manger avec ses cheminées de feu de bois. En outre, vous pourrez profiter des bars King James et Rob Roy, pour savourer l'un des célèbres whiskies pur malts écossais. Le Kings House est un hôtel charmant et historique, construit sur le site d'un pavillon de chasse royal. It is a small friendly Hotel, I had my evening meal in the bar and the food was lovely. My room was at the back of the hotel and was not only quiet, but was lovely and dark. Breakfast was freshly cooked and really nice

The information booklet was good eg walking, sightseeing, books by local people, information about local things to do, emergencies, etc. The temperature in the rooms was very hot and you couldn't turn the temperature down.

Decor and building dated and in a poor state of repair however bed was comfortable and bedroom/bathroom was satisfactory.

A very good room; but then I was given a bigger room than I had booked! The hotel is very well located for cycling the route between Callander and Killin - well unless you are fit tenough to do the whole thing in one day from end to end! (It is about half way along).

Food was good and service very good. Old world hotel, four poster bed very comfy. Could do with a little tlc.

The evening meal was good although we were the only people staying at the hotel and the only people in the hotel that evening. The bedroom had old and tatty furnishings. The shower curtain was dirty and neither of us could bring ourselves, therefore, to use the shower.

Easy to fond, clean and comfortable. exactly what i was after. Breakfast opens at 8.30, you can only get cereal before this if you need to leave before this.

Booked by mistake thinking it was the kings house near glen coe,felt it wasn't clear on the website and apparently they trade on quite a few people making the same mistake. A shabby little hotel, poor location next to a main road, no views.just a terrible experience

,,Atmosphere cultivated at new year was mostly enjoyable if not a little cleekish. food choice not good if vegitarian but seasonable priced in the bar. Found a pair of knickers at side of bed,so cleaning obviously not what it should be, towels and linen appeared clean if well used,very basic accomodation, needs improvement,

Everything was perfect, the staff were lovely and friendly, the food was fantastic and the room lovely and cozy and spotlessly clean. Excellent hotel!
