The Kingsley hotel was in a good location for the gig we were attending. The room was cold at the top of the house but we had a heater which quickly heated up the room. The hotel owner was really lovely and welcoming, breakfast was great and it was a clean comfortable room. The hotel is old fashioned but that is expected in seaside resorts. If you are used to London hotels and decor then this is more blackpool b&B.

Large comfortable room, room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Remote control for telly worked! Very friendly staff. Esay walking distance of Boscombe shops and cliffs. Dated decor in common areas. Also slightly musty smell in common areas. And if I'm being really picky, sauce bottles and fridge in breakfast room needed a good wipe over.

Welcoming, informal family atmosphere. Pristine and immaculately kept, yet warm and friendly. A really very good place to stay. If I were really fussy, I would have liked some Earl Grey or Darjeeling tea bags available, and real marmalade rather than pre-packed portion for breakfast - but neither of these requirements would be essential!

The owner was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. The room was absolutely spotless and the bathroom was so clean it looked brand new. Breakfast was supposed to finish at 9:30 but as it was a Sunday she cooked us a full English and told us to just relax there was no rush. I will stay here every time I am in Bournemouth for the forseeable future.

Everything was perfect! When we arrived we got lovely and warm welcome form the owner of the hotel (even though we arrived very late). When we were show to our room which we were pleasantly surprised as they were very bright, clean, specious and in the same time cozy and homey. There was plenty of tea and coffee placed in the room, which make you felt like the hotel is not trying to save on you. The bathroom (we were allow to choose and we chose the one with bath) was sparkling clean and with little luxurious touches like "sanctuarium covent garden" cream and lovely towels. The breakfast was from 8.00am till 9.00am however we came down at 9.20am and we were served with smile and with wonderful food (famous sausages made by the owners husband who is a butcher, were delicious! even for me who is not a fan of the meat). There was wide selection of fresh fruits, croissants, fresh rolls and selection of cereals bigger than in some supermarkets. The sea was just few minutes’ walk from the hotel and you were walking straight to the pier, which was lovely place to visit. The parking is straight in front of the hotel so you do not have to worry about your car (the neighborhood is very friendly and quiet so you don’t have to worry anyway). You wake up to the chirped of the birds which for us (we are living in London) were the perfect beginning to our weekend. The owner is this charming lady who gave me a big hug when we were living with a little a bit of nostalgia on our shoulder, but with great thought that we will come back here very soon for sure...

Sue (the owner) is a lovely lady who makes you feel right at home. The hotel is very clean throughout and to a very high standard for the great deal we got. There is a very spacious guest living room downstairs with a comfy corner leather sofa and a plasma tv, for you football fans they also have espn which was showing a game at the time! Breakfast is served between 8am to 9am however guests arriving after this time were being served with no fuss at all. The hotel is a 5min walk to the beach which was perfect! There is certainly no where else we would choose to stay in Bournemouth. This is the place!

The staff were personable and welcoming like in a b&b but also allowed us privacy like a hotel. It was excellent value for money compared to other hotels in Bournemouth. The hotel is not in central Bournemouth. With a car this is fine though. We also walked along the promenade to the centre which only took 30 mins.

Two parents and two children (7 and 9) shared the family room. The hotel was well located for the beach and was quiet at night. It was just what we required. Great breakfast and friendly, polite staff.
