Il y a une odeur épouvantablement forte lorsque l'on entre dans les chambres (nous en avions réservé 2). Après recherche, cela vient du produit utilisé pour nettoyer les couettes des lits. Inutile de vous dire que cette odeur nous a dérangé toute la nuit....!!!! |

Easy access to amenities. Close to town centre yet quiet location. Room was an ideal size and very clean. Bed was somewhat hard. Shower was a bit small. But for the cost cannot complain. |

The location was convenient and in a quiet and pleasaant area.The staff were helpful,pleasant and unobtrusive ,and the bar meal we had was excellent and did not break the bank. A location finder would have been helpful on the website, |

Visiting local attractions(Castle cathedral & beamish) and returning to excellent meals that were great value for money. Staff were excellent across areas. Kind and friendly. |

The room was extremely cozy and quiet. Hotel sits just five minutes from train station, back up against a hill in a mainly residential area. The cons are very dark and old fashioned dining room and that it's also next to the bus depot so not quite country idyllic. |

Despite it's fairly central location, the hotel was quiet. It had a comfortable feel, and the resturant choice was excellent and of very good value. Great breakfast. They were also accommodating with departure times. We would certainly stay there again. |

The position was good, and the food was excellent, served by friendly staff The room was adequate for a weekend break, but not enough space for clothes if you stayed any longer, it would have been better with a double bed rather than twin beds which took up more room,then a chest of drawers could have been put in the room |

Room was small but comfortable and had all the facilities to make our stay pleasurable. noise from the bus station proved a little problematic especially in the early hours of the morning. |

The receptionist was very helpful and allowed me to change to a room with an en-suite bath instead of shower. The room I was moved into was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. |

The quiteness and the location were good, proximity to town & train & bus stations breakfast was served-hot breakfast, tea,toast, quickly but I had to get up from the table on 3 occassions to look for milk, butter and some sauce, also I was not asked did I want any more tea/toast- which is usually done, even in a small B&B |

The room was clean, comfortable and well-presented. The staff were also accomodating on the second morning when I overslept and arrived late for breakfast! Only minor gripe was the picture on the digital TV was garbled on some of the channels. Wasn't a big enough deal for me to mention it to the staff though. |

Room very clean and comfortable, and although very close to the city centre, hotel was very quiet, especially at night. Service in the restaurant was very slow it took us 1 and a half hours to complete one course. We left after waiting 20 minutes for someone to take our dessert order. Also food poorly cooked. |
