Very pleasant and helpful staff

Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, good food (although only had breakfast).

The pillows. They were flat and hard.

Easy access to amenities. Close to town centre yet quiet location. Room was an ideal size and very clean.

Bed was somewhat hard. Shower was a bit small. But for the cost cannot complain.

The location was convenient and in a quiet and pleasaant area.The staff were helpful,pleasant and unobtrusive ,and the bar meal we had was excellent and did not break the bank.

The room was extremely cozy and quiet. Hotel sits just five minutes from train station, back up against a hill in a mainly residential area.

The cons are very dark and old fashioned dining room and that it's also next to the bus depot so not quite country idyllic.

Friendly helpful staff. Food was of a high standard for price paid.

The room was adequate for a weekend break, but not enough space for clothes if you stayed any longer, it would have been better with a double bed rather than twin beds which took up more room,then a chest of drawers could have been put in the room

Room was small but comfortable and had all the facilities to make our stay pleasurable.

noise from the bus station proved a little problematic especially in the early hours of the morning.

The quiteness and the location were good, proximity to town & train & bus stations

breakfast was served-hot breakfast, tea,toast, quickly but I had to get up from the table on 3 occassions to look for milk, butter and some sauce, also I was not asked did I want any more tea/toast- which is usually done, even in a small B&B

The evening meal was very good and staff were very good.
