Warm, friendly, good service, great facilities and location.
Breakfast, get your own toast, cold plates for buffet style breakfast.
In a four star hotel, having my breakfast go cold while I queued up to wrestle with the vagaries of the self service toast maker.
Enjoyed the pleasant service for our evening meal. Such wonderful young people. Food in the dining room was very good. Very handy for walking into town.
Can't criticise a thing. Everyone was working so hard to make it a pleasant experience.
Everything, service, quality of food in restaurant was excaellent. Location just a short walk to town centre, ideal and we will definitely be back for another visit
Nothing wrong, everything was good
Good, comfortable hotel
Make sure you get a room to the back of the hotel. Very noisy at the front.
Everything in the hotel were exceptional. Very nice n comfortable room. There was no fault we could find. Their services were exceptional. Top rating
The advertised free wi-fi in the rooms but it turns out it was only for 30 minutes of free wi fi. The location was far from town and the restaurant was very expensive!
We stayed in the separate building after getting an upgrade to a Retreat room. The room was beautiful with a lovely little patio area overlooking the golf course. The staff were very helpful and the food was gorgeous. We even got a glass of malt on our arrival I was amazed that the food and drink were so reasonably priced. All in all we had a lovely time, the staff in particular should get a special mention for their friendliness. We'll be back soon.
There were absolutely no negatives
Excellent location for touring and sight seeing. Hotel facilities more than fit the bill as a city break. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Booked 3 nights here after a disasterous week at the Thistle hotel up the road. This hotel is absolutely fabulous- amazing food, amazing rooms (I was upgraded to the newer Kings Club) and amazing breakfast. I have booked to go back in three weeks time for work and will be staying here every time I come to inverness.
Very and prompt service. Good food.
The disabled bathroom was not cleaned once during the stay. The paper basket was not emptied daily.
BRILLIANT HOTEL,FRIENDLY STAFF,FOOD EXCELLENT & ROOMS VERY NICE
Staff were very good about my complaints and changed my room the next day.
As a solo traveller as usual was given the worse room in the hotel, view over the roof of kitchens and noise of extractors. Only paid 10 pounds less than a couple and had a dreadful room. Hotels need to be more considerate to solo travelers.
It was good that the hotel upgraded my wife and me to a room within Spa extension which was spacious, comfortable and quiet.
Kings Club is fine. Evening meals fine Lots of parking Very clean Very efficient and friendly staff
Breakfast in the Kings Club is a problem - cold buffet choice is limited by space and they never have bread rolls - just toast and croissants!
All aspects of hotel experience excellent. One of the best hotel meals we have ever had. Will look forward to staying in this hotel again.
Piped music at meals.
The wonderfully helpful staff and the comfortable room
We found it very hard to find, especially as we arrived in the dark
Enjoyed hearing Scottish accents when welcomed at reception and it was nice to be offered help with bags to the room although we did not need it. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean with both a shower and a bath which was easy to fill and empty quickly. Very peaceful setting. The only noise heard being birds singing in the morning. Lovely choice of food available in the buffet breakfast and attentive staff. Delighted to find such a pet friendly policy. Space in grounds to walk dogs easily and a dog pooh bin nearby. Free wifi downstairs by reception. Relaxed atmosphere.
The water in the pool felt too cold and it seemed unusual and unhygienic that people have to walk along the poolside in outer shoes to reach the changing rooms. Have to pay an additional charge if you want more than 30 minutes internet access in your room.
Food&drink excellent,relaxing atmosphere,beautiful room&comfortable very large bed,very clean,only stayed one night would love to go back&stay longer
The facilties were excellent - particularly the gym and pool. The staff were helpful and friendly. I loved the fact that my room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable.
I didn't like the feel of my bathroom - it felt like being in a hospital. The sink was very small too and also very low down ( I knocked my head on the shelf a couple of times whilst attempting to wash my face).
Staff helpful and pleasent Pool nice and warm Child friendly in terms of dining Spacies family rooms
Disappointing the spa was closed for duration of stay
Excellent staff who were v attentive without being obsequious. Nice room- not perfect - but more than acceptable with pleasant gardens. Good breakfast, pleasant dinning room. It's worthy of mention that this was our third attempt to visit- on the first we had to cancel as my elderly mother was ill, on the second my husband was taken ill during the night in Fort William and had to attend A & E resulting in a need to return home immediately. In reality we were a few hours short of the cancellation period and I fully expected that we would be charged for the coming night. The fact that we were'nt was so much appreciated- yes- I had spoken to the night porter around 4.00a.m to cancel but had no real expectations of understanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will visit again for much longer next time. Service was excellent and - v importantly all the staff appeared happy in their work.
Decoration in the garden room could be refreshed, shower a little under powered
everything about the hotel is great.
I complained to the head waiter that my dinner was inedible. He said he would inform the chef. Never asked me if I would like anything else. Never asked me what was wrong with the meal. Disappointing. A guy next to me smoking an e cigarette.
Meals were cold, when returned were presented with meals that were not cooked enough. Also part of the meal appeared to be microwaved as was tough and dry. These were also retuned. Did not order any more food.
