very comfortable bed
food and service was excellent Staff were helpful and always polite Room was very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean great facilities on and near site
couldn't find anything to dislike, would stay again
Room a bit dated.
Friendly & comfortable hotel. Spacious rooms and pet-friendly. Good facilities if travelling with a dog.
Exceedingly busy lounges in the evening.
Spacious room, nice and quiet. Pleasant staff. Clean room
Bathroom had toilet roll holder hanging off wall. Soap holder in shower was also half hanging off. Toiletries supplied by hotel minimal. (bar of soap, shampoo and conditioner Tea and coffee refreshments in room, minimal. All of the above extremely poor considering Kingsmills is a 4 start hotel.
My husband and I choose the Kingsmills for a one night stay to 'get away from it all!'. The staff were extremely nice, the hotel is of a good standard and the food was lovely. We would recommend this hotel.
I felt the pool was a bit tired looking as was our bathroom in our room. Other than that everything was fine.
The Demi suite was pure luxury, from the beds which were like marshmallows to the bathroom which defnitely had the wow factor. Lovely welcome treats.
The room looked onto a busy road so was a little bit noisy.
Cost of internet access in the rooms.
As always the staff were friendly and helpful. Graham in the bar/restaurant excellent as ever. He even remembers our name for the last five years of visits. Clean comfortable surroundings with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
There was nothing to dislike
Relaxing stay. Lovely swim and steam. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Large bedroom.
The staff were helpful and polite.
The food was poor for a hotel of this quality and arrived at the table cold. Charging for wifi is not acceptable. The leisure centre was dark and the pool looked unclean, the jacuzzi was unbearably hot.
My room was very expensive £145!! And it was extremely run down and basic not too mention the extractor fan outside the window that rumbled very loudly all night!! Staff didn't care and didn't offer a different room! I explained it and the response I got was "ohh ok" that was it! Over priced and food was not good considering there prices
Location Good breakfast
Paying for wifi Over priced for what it is
Large, comfortable bed Nice smelling toiletries Nice outlook onto a patio and gardens (room 20) Spacious Good breakfast selection
Cheap in-room tea and coffee (Nescafé sachets) Dead spider under the duvet Short, dark hairs in the bath tub Tired bathroom decor and in-room carpet £5 tray charge for room service Faulty light switch in bedside lamp
The kind, helpful and friendly staff and the superb nights sleep. I also liked the breakfast and the pool. In fact it was all perfect.
Access to gym/pool; staff very helpful; lovely premises; room great
Dinner service appeared to focus on service rather than food quantity / quality. Had a hoped for slightly better.
There was a very pleasant atmosphere ,friendly staff . The breakfast had a good selection . Our room was large and quiet.
We had no dislikes
Everything and everyone and very clean
The garden rooms were great as we had our Labrador with us
poor advice about breakfast
Prices were steep in the bar and restaurant.
We were made to feel so welcome and special. The staff went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. The facilities are second to none as was our suite of rooms.
Very friendly reception staff and we had a beautiful room in the spa complex.
Pool was nice
A little expensive
Lovely hotel Good food Nice relaxing bath with the crabtree&evyln products
There was a noise from a boiler or air conditioning in the middle of the night went on all night I couldnt sleep.
