Good sized family rooms with plenty of space for our dog. Great staff who tried to cater for all our needs.
WiFi didn't work in room. Used own phone as a mobile hotspot.
Lovely big rooms in new extension.
No free wi-fi
Liked everything. Have travelled all over the world and stayed in some fabulous hotels. The Kingsmills measured up extremely well.
Helpful staff Clean & lovely rooms
Room and bed
Was on B&B rate but when I asked for espresso coffee at breakfast, was told i'd be charged for it!!
Stayed here a couple of times now and the standard of rooms has varied each time. First time I was put in the Kings Club which was fabulous. Next time I was in Room 111 in the main hotel which was horrifically dated. This time I was in room 10 which was ok but rain was pouring in through the ceiling in the corridor!
Variable room standard, poor room service menu (never changes!), ridiculously slow WIFI in rooms even though paying £9.95 for 24 hours.
The food was outstanding
The alarm light flashing all night keeping us awake then the clock alarm pre set and waking us up at 6am
Was a great night and would gladly stay again. Hotel and rooms are beautiful staff are very friendly best hotel by far.. Best of it was we got an upgrade magic!!
Wasn't a thing wrong with the place
Everything except Breakfast
Breakfast below expected experience level.
We enjoyed the Kingsmill Hotel. The staff was outstanding and incredibly helpful--made the stay great. They helped us find our excellent tour/driver (ask for Andrew MacDonald) who took us everywhere we wanted to go for two full days--all over the highlands. The breakfast was tasty!
The food in the dinning hall is ok, not as special as we had expected from reading the other reviews, and it was expensive. Internet was not very good. We paid for internet in our room, and it was too weak to use. The free internet in the lobby was better but still weak. We found ourselves sitting there often to be able to access the internet.
Swimming pool and fitness suite. Helpful staff Breakfast had good choices. Loch Ness just up the road.
Friendly staff. Lovely hotel. Good breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful staff Food good but fairly basic but general atmosphere excellent Very enjoyable and easy stay
Bill not tallied properly
Extremely friendly staff who were very helpful on my arrival. Continued to be helpful with all our requests Room lovely and clean
Just a bit disappointed that when I settled the bill for our 2 rooms there was obviously a mistake as my family had to pay more on their departure the next day. They had not accrued any extra expenses but it may have been an over sight on original bill
Everything from the time we arrived to the time we left. Staff were amazing, hotel was very clean could not have faulted anything at all.
Nothing at all
Everything about our stay was excellent. the staff couldn't have been better in any way .The organisation on Xmas day with hundreds of guest being seated and served an excellent Xmas meal went without a hitch . the table dressings were excellent. And providing a Santa Claus on Xmas Day was the icing on the cake
Fantastic place to stay, £5 taxi to town centre and not far from Dores beach.
Food menu Animals in a hotel . massive allergy problem . Never seen this before in a four star hotel
Nice big rooms good location
Lack of sky tv in rooms sky sports available in bar but not encouraged as it was on silent and just 1 small screen. Didn't like the menus especially lack of vegetarian choices nor did I think the quality of the breakfast was good and don't likebuffet style service not good either for tea/coffee /clearing tables. Also room wasn't serviced as a note was 11.30am!) I did mention it to the desk but still wasn't done.have stayed inseveral hotes in Inverness and expected a bit more from the Kingsmill
Breakfast was awesome.. plenty to choose from and was tasty!!! Was there for a Highland Hospice function previous evening and tapas buffet was really good as well.. Nice function room, plenty room and bar available in function room itself:)
Hotel was lovely. Nice big room and spotless facilities. Beautiful setting and handy for the town centre.
Hotel was very busy with lots of functions on. Our meal in the restaurant was somewhat disorganised as a result. Got offered one starter, and was given another! Bill was also wrong but changed immediately once pointed out
Lovely building and surrounding grounds where you can exercise your dog. Great to have such a pet friendly hotel. Lovely comfortable beds and spacious bathroom.
Additional charge if wanting to use internet in bedrooms. Can get voucher for half an hour but it didn't work in the room I stayed in.
Bed very comfortable room spacious good location
two out of three lights broken in ceiling meal very average and over priced
Loved the room and the facilities
Food could be better
This hotel has parking and is the right side of town for the airport
The very off hand reception women. The poor quality breakfast in my room. The cost of wifi in my room.
