Staff were very friendly and the room was warm and clean. The shower leaked over the bathroom floor so had to mop it up incase we slipped. Not fun! |

Accommodation was very good and the front of house staff were first rate The restaurant menu was limited for vegetarians and the menu sheet didn't change. The waiting stall were very friendly but untrained to the level of a 4* hotel eg glasses were left on the table after it was clear they would not be required -and the table size was small.Breadcrumbs were left on the cloth and the whole dining experience could be improved with a small training input. |

I loved every minute of it, was so sad to leave, the food was gorgeous too!! I did not like the fact that the pillows and duvets were feathered and this was never mentioned and i have a really bad allergy which kind of spoiled my stay, when we called for more pillows(as at this point i did not know the duvet was also feathered and the staff clearly didn't either as they never offered me a replacement duvet) it took them over an hour to bring them up, when you are knackered it was not so good, but this is my only complaint |

The observatory restaurant was very good. The bathroom had a damp patch on the ceiling and the room smelt fusty. |

The whole experience was enjoyable; the comfort of the room, the excellent food and leisure facilities, but particularly the friendly and attentive (but not overly) staff. |

The rooms were extremely comfortable, although when I booked, the booking confirmation said a garden room and we were on the first floor. The breakfast was very good and plenty of variety but by the time you carried a cooked breakfast back to the table, it was cold. The plates were not warm enough. |

Whole atmosphere of hotel welcoming, friendly and relaxed.Food in restaurant excellent and very good value.Staff very attentive and friendly without being overbearing Room, although lovely was one of older rooms and a little tired looking-know the newer rooms at same price far more luxurious-this is the only gripe-not deluxe as expected, especially as it was our silver wedding.Guess booking through the Hotel might have given us a better room? |

Very attentive staff, friendly. The room I was in was had the central heating vents outside my window - very noisy, good not leave the window open, ruined the view and spoiled my comfort. I will recommend but I personally would need a different room before agreeing to stay again. |
