The food in the hotel was exqisite My wife and I have stayed in a few different hotels and did not find the room to be any different than that of a premier inn hotel, therefore I thought it was very expensive |

nice big bed and big room. lovely breakfast. nice staff. we were in a room on the groung floor and we could hear the floor boards creaking everytime someone walked upstairs. and someone put their tv on abit to loud in the morning. |

The bed was very very comfortable & the gardens were immaculate. The reason we chose the hotel was to attend a family party which was very well organised. We had booked a garden king room & were shown to a twin with a view of a garden of air conditioners! Fortunately we arrived reasonably early & they were able to give us what we had booked but as the hotel was full that weekend would we have got what we booked if we had arrived later? |

Staff offered a choice of other rooms when I asked to move. (See question 1) However, none of the three rooms I was offered had a separate shower cubicle. Final room did have some black mould problems and a rusty pole for the shower curtain. I had to ask for a dirty table cloth to be changed at breakfast. For four star, probably needed an upgrade to TV quality. |

Relaxed, pleasant,helpful and caring attitude of all staff. The room type that I had booked was not the type which I was allocated. On arrival I payed the amount agreed in the booking and when checking out was asked for an additional amount of £10 over the booking agreement. There was a discrepancy between the rate offered in the booking and the rate stated by the hotel. |

Staff very helpful in sorting problems (see below).. Good facilities. On arrival we found that our original specification (garden room) had been altered to another, high standard room. The staff very quickly managed to find a garden room for us, although we had to wait until it had been valeted. |

Staff great (particularly Ruta; friendly, efficient, unflappable) The piano! Went to a friend's hotel (overbooked for us) for dinner due to other guests comments. Clearly, they are professional whingers who pretend to have ridiculously high standards in their sad little lives. Thoroughly misleading comments; wished we had ignored them |
