The room was basic but clean and the bathroom looked recently done, clean and we were happy to use it. The free parking made it easy to drive to. We left the car and used the underground which is approx 10 mins walk from the hotel on the same road. Along this road there are lots of resteraunts and cafe bars, not exactly cosmopolitan but they are nice and the people very friendly. Camden town is 3 stops, Kings Cross is 4 stops so you really are in a good location, even if it doesn't particularly look it. You very much get what you pay for here, if a little more. If you want bells and whistles then its not for you but if you just want a cheap, clean bed & bathroom with somewhere safe and free to park your car avoiding congestion charges then this is for you. The staff are lovely and welcoming too. We will happily come back so we are, within the next month and will probably visit again after that. London is a very expensive place with lots to offer and do so if you save some money on your room, which you don't actually spend that much time in, you will no doubt have somewhere to spend them elsewhere.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Somewhere to get our heads down that wasn't going to cost the earth. There are no luxuries here but if you want a friendly clean place to get your head down this is the place. Very easy to get to from Euston. Straight on to the Northern Line & off at Golders Green...loads of places to eat and only a 10min walk from the Tube Thin walls! would have liked there to have been a plug within easy reach of the kettle instead of having to put the kettle on the floor...but I think I am being picky now!

The cornflakes looked and tasted like the real thing. Where to start? I was emailed one price for an extra night and was told that I had to pay £30.00 more on the night, the receptionist (Bulgarian) was rude, arrogant and pushy. He owes me an apology, and £30.00. The staff stood around staring at us over breakfast, one morning a very greasy haired man cooking the toast, kept stroking his head with an ungloved hand and then fiddling with the toast. He kept shouting at the staff, and was clearly in a foul mood and spread an unpleasant atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The hotel itself was the most depressing place I've ever stayed in, there was no ceiling lamp shade, the curtains were hanging off the rail and the duvet was about 1 inch thick.

The bathroom was clean The corridors smelt bad, the room was really small, the staff at reception wasn't very proffessional, the floor in the room was uneven, and the carpet dirty, the bed wasn't the most comfortable (I think it was a fold up), also, I was on street level with pedestrians walking past, there were no net curtains so had to keep the curtains shut. Overall it was over priced and not a pleasant stay. Wouldn't reccomend.

The location is excellant for public transport, bus stop outside the hotel and the underground station only a short walk away. The hotel was warm and welcoming. The few problems encountered with the room was quickly sorted out to satisfaction. Didn't expect to be offered a kosher breakfast. There was no alternative.

I was travelling with my 8 year old daughter. The room was basic but the staff were friendly and the hotel is in a good location. Our room had a TV that actually worked (unlike the TV's in some expensive hotels where we've stayed.) Nothing really. It was OK for the money. I would recommend it to a friend.

The staff in the restaurant in the evening were lovely. The gentleman on reception was unfriendly and curt. I had to ask for directions to my room. The room had no bin and no bin in the bathroom. The television didn't work and no hairdryer. The buffet breakfast was; tuna, cucumber and other salad items and eggs? The whole experience was quite unpleasant and I would not recommend this hotel.
