Reception and bar staff were excellent and helpful. Food was reasonably priced. Breakfast cooked to order. Free car park.
Ancient duvets. Hard pillows. Cracked bathroom sink. A lot of dust in room. Worse in breakfast room where there are wooden Venetian blinds which are filthy hiding windows that are equally unclean. Old and tired decoration. Needs renovating. Too expensive for quality provided.
The peace and quiet to relax in comfortable surroundings
Was in a ground floor room overlooking the car park so could never draw the curtains open
Staff were really helpful and answered our queries. We were able to check in early as requested as we were going to the Rugby ar Twickenham.
Hotel did not have information on local atteactions, things to do. Also places on where to eat would of been helpful.
Bar Bed Soaps in the bathroom Car park
Very friendly staff
Too many stairs. Down to my room, up to the bar and then down again to the restaurant.
Bed was comfortable, space in room good Restaurant service was good
Food in restaurant was basic - lumpy mash and microwaved sausages
We liked the welcome when we arrived, very late, there were 2 people on reception who were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and we were allocated a room with an outside door which was perfect for our dog.
Breakfast was worse than in a Premier Inn. The fried bread was bread put under the scrambled egg and bacon. There were no bowls, no one to direct us to a seat and no one clearing up regularly. It was not good. A large family group was allowing all the children to run around and put their noses right on the bread and toasting machine. This could have been avoided if the toasting machine was placed higher. On booking out there was a queue and only one person on reception, booking out took far too long.
good location for where I wanted to be. good welcome good choice of menu
main dining room tacky and lacked the finishing touches. shower in room not working correctly, had to have a cold shower as there seemed to be a n airlock in the hot water system
Lovely room. Quiet. Had the continental breakfast which was very good
Lovely clean Hotel, Staff very obliging and Beer was brilliant
Mattress a bit to soft, otherwise great
I liked the welcoming room. The big bed. Clean and spacious bathroom. Well lit. good storage space
Cooked English breakfast was slow in coming and lacked the hash brons I asked for. Other wise breakfast was good.
I liked the hotel and the neighboring area
poor lighting in the bedroom, dated and tired furniture. Noise from outside the bedroom window. Breakfast not included
the hotel was clean and the hotel quiet, also very central for Richmond Park, which is where we were heading. Would use this hotel again.
Staff were fantastic
Excellent staff, they really couldn't do enought for you. Plentyfull and tasty breakfast. Very comfy bed, spacious bedroom & large modern bathroom. Would definately stay here again.
Rooms very well presented, liked the complimentary fresh water which, came in two bottles. Also liked the french doors to communal area. Hotel pre-warned me that there was a marriage reception in the hotel that night.
Shame breakfast was not included in price but I thought I got a fairly good deal on the room.
Great reception staff. Very accommodating. We requested an early check-in, they telephoned to confirm. Breakfast was great, fast efficient, fresh, good staff.
We had patio doors only on the ground floor, so no window to open for fresh air.
friendly staff. comforatable clean room breakfast lovely garden excellent space
A great welcome to this hotel by management team. Pleasant and comfortable surroundings.
Housekeeping left something to be desired with a dirty fridge in the room, and room not completely cleaned each day.
Parking was easy
all OK. No dislikes
Staff were lovely.
Food poor, even the breakfast.
We arrived quite late but were able to have a lovely meal in the bar area. We were travelling to the Hampton Court Flower Show and the staff gave us very helpful advice about using the public transport system (coming from Jersey we were not familiar with Oyster cards!)
Only downside was that there were a lot of stairs - my 81 year old Mum found it a bit hard going as she had to climb up and down stairs to get to the breakfast room/her room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
On arrival our extra bed had not been made up and the mattress appeared very stained and unpleasant. After a phonecall it was quickly replaced with an acceptable mattress.
