Perfect location for the rugby. Nice staff, large clean room. Tv/dvd did not work properly (but forgot to report this as only in the hotel 12 yrs). Restaurant expensive and did not live up to price for dinner. Breakfast Ok. 4 stars is perhaps slightly generous. |

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and all special requests were cheerfully filled. The hotel staff throughout were very professional and courteous. The room was very clean and nice. It was a very nice stay, and convenient to Kingston University, where our son is a student. |

On arival the staff were welcoming. The hotel was clean and tidy and had a relaxed atmosphere. Carpets in the bedroom were dirty, needed changing. |

I had booked the "romantic gesture" package which was meant to be flowers, a box of chocolates and Champagne, on entering the room my girlfriend found a wilted vase of flowers, a bar of Cadburys Dairy Milk and a bottle of Champagne in a bucket of water! This was obviously not seen as being romantic, in fact more insulting than anything else. Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel! Breakfast was very poor, certainly not worth the money! |

Clean accommodation, friendly staff. The food was expensive for what it was and we were charged £2 for a glass of squash for our toddler which is just ridiculous. The walls are very thin and we were unfortunately subjected to the "personal life" of the couple next door until the early hours of the morning The bed wasn't very comfortable either. |

The fact that it was near where we wanted to go - Kingston. Apart from that we did not like the hotel at all. Poor welcome. Cramped room. Stuffy both in room and in public rooms, no air circulating at all and no air conditioning. Quality of breakfast adequate, but no napkins, not enough space on the tables, had to ask twice for tea, bowls etc. Overpriced at £150 per night. |

Great location, good receptionist, however, I liked very little else about this hotel Air Con did not work / No hairdryer?? / Warm beer; had to dring bottled beer / Staff smoking outside my room which meant I had to close the window, even though it was 90 degrees with no air con working / Unable to fulfill my breakfast order / No giveaway toiletries |

The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the romantic gestures as it was our anniversary. The flowers champagne and chocolates did not arrive till about 7pm on the first night of arrival. When they did turn up it was looked like they had bought them from the local petrol station with a small bunch of unopened tulips and a small box of selection chocolates. We also stayed in our room till about 1pm on the second morning as we were getting ready to go to a wedding and on our return nobody had bothered to clean our room although we put the signn the door. Very disappointing I will not be going back. |
