Breakfast very good/Relaxed atmosphere I do not like sleeping in a single bed/room - Becoming quite rare in hotels - But recognise this can be sorted at point of booking |

The room was large with a comfortable bed. Bath/shower was small and poor quality toiletries. Nice large tv but no ITV on my set which no one fixed. I stay in many hotels and found this one quite impersonal. I had a meal in the restaurant which was very good but their menu is vastly overpriced which could explain why it was empty. Quiet location in a nice square near the theatre but noisy residents and staff made working in the room difficult. |

The bed was very comfortable The room was up several flights of stairs and in a seperate buillding to the main part of the hotel, there appeared to be no fire escape for our room, we had to ask for tea, milk etc. , there were no glasses in the bathroom and the "enhanced toiletries" were very disappointing. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the hotel was in a lovely quiet square convenient walking distance to central Hull, we will stay again. The shower in our room could have been a little more powerful. |

Easy access to town centre. Quiet situation. Pleasantly English. Generally helpful and friendly staff. Waiter at breakfast seemingly related to Basil Faulty. Basic bathroom facilities. |

Friendly staff and lovely spacious room. Very handy for the theatre and in a nice area of the city. Thought that as I had upgraded to a superior room that there should have been a bath and not just a shower. |

Staff were very friendly, everything was prompt, clean no residual cirgarette smells, and no city noise. Even though the bed I was told was brand new, One side of the mattress had no support and I slept badly for fear of rolling out of the bed., so it must have been a bad one in a batch. |

The location of the hotel was ideal for us as we were attending a party in one of their function rooms. We stayed at the hotel mid April and the heating was switched off when we arrived, and the room was cold. We did however, find a portable heater in the cupboard which we used. |

Great location to walk around Hull. Mattresses need replacing. Water temperature difficult to control in the shower. |

The staff was amazingly friendly. More than happy to answer our questions and were always smiling. The dinner was excellent - the roast beef and yorkshire pudding was delish! The only thing was our bed - it was tilted to one side (probably from people sitting on the edge), and I felt like I was going to fall out of it all night. |

It was convenient to centre I did not like the fact that workmen who were staying in the hotel were sat in the restaurant in filthy working clothes soiling both chairs and carpets and nothing is said. I asked for low fat milk at breakfast, non was available yet sachets of low fat are supplied in the bedrooms but could not be offered for breakfast. |
