Tasty breakfast, which was a surprise. Slightly reminded us of Faulty Towers, a bit shabby, but good for the occasion (family wedding at town centre location). Friendly enough staff.

The staff were welcoming and helpfull at all times and flexible with regards to the hours I was required to keep. The breakfast service and quality of produce was very good (no tinned tomatoes in sight) and prepared to order. The rooms are generousky proptioned with all amenities available. The advice for local facilities was excalllent. I did not have the opportunity to assess the evening meals since there was noone to cook them. A top of the range b&b maybe not the best hotel ever. I would return and undoubtedly enjoy my stay again. The standard of general if minor maintenance, broken soap dish in the shower, window that would not open to allow fresh air to the sleeping area, no water glasses for tooth brushes in the bathroom nor to put by the bed for water during the night and every mans grievance, no mugs just silly little cups. And saucers!!!!!!!! .

only breakfast The manager was very vage abvout everything and didnit seem to know much about his town. He was not there half the time. The appliances were mostly broken. If you just looked at the shower the pipe fell off. The towel rack had to lean against the wall as it to was broken. There was no self in the bathroom to put things on either. I don't think the manager knew our name as he never used it.

Nothing, waited 30mins for anybody to arrive at the hotel to book us in, rooms were tired, worn and short of paint, if you were working localy on a building or similar its ideal. Web sites can paint a very different picture to reality everything needs someone with a bit of money and some insperation maybe the owner should spend the night in each of the rooms with a note book and pen

I liked that we could come and go as we pleased. i was unhappy with the bedding being dirty and having to sleep in a bed without a duvet cover. and i was unhappy that we had to wait 20 minutes to book in as no one was around even though i had called a few days before to ask to book in earlier.

The only positive experience is the friendly welcome. The hotelrooms are very dirty with dust on the windows like they haven't been cleaned for ages.

On arrival the welocme gentleman was very helpful and pleasant and very appeasing. Again we had to consult him the following evening and again the same service. All the staff we encountered on our staff were friendly and pleasant. It is obvious that the hotel is undergoing an update, and this is much needed in the bedroom we were in (no 4). It looked very tired. Also we asked for a twin but got a double with a single which was fine.
