This hotel is in a fantastic and very convenient location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed linens were also lovely and very comfortable.
This hotel might be better suited to older travellers or families as it is very traditional in terms of decor and facilities and the in-room dining options very simple. Some of the fixtures also look like they might need some upgrading.
It is a lovely looking hotel friendly and comfortable.
The cost of the in room bar/fridge ridiculous prices. Does anyone buy them?
Excellent location just 5 mins from Convent Garden As always staff were lovely & very accommodating
No bar area this time as it had been taken over for more dining space I guess for the Christmas period so had to find alternatives for our pre-meal drinks
We've repeatedly tried to recover a valuable left behind, and continue to receive no response from the hotel. Very disappointed in this
The lobby and restaurant are generic, but the rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom, while small, was very high end.
The hotel played host to several functions in its restaurant and meeting facilities. The noise from these events, which continued late into the evening, spilled over into the lodging areas, making it difficult to sleep a couple of nights.
The best hotel ( location and nice )
pillows being advised to come at 08.30 for breakfast. lack of bath robes
Location within London
5 TV channels. Five! What year is this?
Good location exactly what we were looking for
Staff on reception need customer service training.
Location, staff effort.
Room too hot, window jammed shut and couldn't be opened.
Price in weekdays, I wanted to extend my stay, but they change the rates everyday. No smoking rooms
Everything about this hotel is good and I will be using it again. No problem whatsoever.
We have visited this hotel twice now, and will use it for most of our trips to the central city. It is clean, warm, with excellent service. The food is good.
The mini bar and coffee/tea prices are unusually high for a hotel. Also, there is no need to charge £15.00 for one days wifi access, when nearly everywhere provides it for free, and without such a large income such as a hotel like this.
Good value and attractive appearance throughout
The location was excellent, the food was very good and staff were spot on, helpful and pleasant
Nobody informed us beforehand of 2o/o surcharge on the price of our room, plus every time we ate or drank there was a 15o/o service charge on everything, plus place for gratuities on the bill. The bar could have had more choice
Central to our requirements we have stopped with you befor and will again I am sure.
We were unable to get BBC1 on our TV we had a red line down the right hand side and the audio was out do not expect small thinks like that for the price you pay.
Really lovely staff helpful and friendly would definatly recommend
My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for one night for my birthday and were going to the theatre the next day. The entrance to the hotel was very grand, the reception staff were lovely and informed us that they'd upgraded us at no extra cost. They made everything so easy, asked us if we would like a wake up call or a paper, if we needed any information about getting around London & so on. After getting to our room (701), there was a large TV, a two seater sofa and two armchairs and a king size bed. The bedside lamps were particularly striking, very art deco. The rest of the decor throughout the room seemed a bit dated but this tied in with the character of the hotel. The hotel is tucked away off of a busy main road and our room was so quiet, I couldn't believe that we slept through the night in the centre of London! When we had checked out, we were asked if we would like a taxi called for us - just the simple things like this were added in that I have only experienced in places like America where they rely heavily on tips. Here it was just a great standard of service that was given throughout. I had no issues with this hotel and would highly recommend it and its staff.
There are no negative points.
Very handy for a number of tube stations, shops, pubs and restaurants.
What seems to have become an unfortunate trait in London of having a discretionary service charge added to everything - even a self-service breakfast.
The location was great. Staff was extremely helpful.
Excellent situation, staff very courteous and overall a pleasure to stay there
It's location and clean
The concierges were very friendly and helpful.
Was told because we booked through Booking.com free wifi was not available! Towels could have a few more threads. Hair dryer really needs replacing.
