We were promissed to have a bigger room, but in fact we lived in Admiral Hotel (next door). Bad poor off of water in the shower. Tiny room. The same breakfast every day - bread with jam and butter and english breakfast.
Location is perfect to visit various destinations across London. food was also good.
Rooms too cozy and small. bathroom was also not comfortable. heating was not working... some of the staff was bit rude...
Position was good, 200 meters from Metro Station.
Room was not well clean, same as bathroom and, more important, Shower. There's no elevator and the lightning on the staircase go up and down continuosly (very nervously).
An excellent receptionist who made us feel very welcome. A big well done to Kevin who was very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to others. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Well maintained and clean place. Would definitely return.
Close to Paddington station
Paper walls, you can hear everything. Really small bad. Dangerous stairs. Smell of scrambled eggs even on 4th floor.
Good for money and close distance to Paddington Underground.
WiFi was not accessible in our room which was located at the basement, around the corner. Handle for one of the windows was broken and anyone can easily break into our room by opening the window from the outside because there was simply no other way to lock the window without the handle. Reported it to the staff but it wasn't repaired till the day we checked out, said the hotel is surrounded by CCTV around and it is safe. Still, we were in the basement and there were stairs that can lead people on the street right up to the window.
Good location, handy for hyde park and within easy walking distance of Paddington main line and underground. Breakfast was nice. Room was clean and shower/bathroom was clean
Room was a little cramped but was good fun we treated it as a dormitory.
Best thing I can say is that the location was alright.
No parking due to Construction on the outside. Very small rooms, extremely steep and narrow stairs and no elevator. It was hard to get my bags up to the 4th floor. I asked to check in early but had to take a tour on the town until 1pm. This made me miss the theater I had planned to see while in town.
Location, Quiet, Breakfast OK first day but gets a bit boring by the third.
Foul-smelling bathroom/ toilet, Stairs - 44 up to second floor and additional 20 down to breakfast.... dreadful shower curtain - missing hooks, around the minute shower space.
used furniture rooms in the cellar, no window, like dungeon no GSM signal in cellar!
location was excellent and breakfast was nice
smelly bathroom, flickering hall and stairway lighting, uncomfortable bed, broken computer and phone not working.... just not great
Carpet needs replacing Cupboard door hanging off No parking available despite booking space ( roadworks but could of contacted us to make other arrangements) Curtains wouldn't close properly Booked kingsway park hotel was put into admiral hotel??
location very nice and polite staff
size of the room quality of the bathroom breakfast facility and food quality elevator
Nothing. Would not recommend to worst enemy.
No lift. No Bar facilities. No restaurant. Wrong hotel I.E. named The Admiral, two doors down from Kingsway Park Hotel. Meals cold and very small portions. The food was an insult. Service non-existent. Unable to find a table to sit at one morning. No Reception. Night staff very unhelpful.
Very poor service problem with Internet 3 rd floor no elevator
Maintenance is not well kept. No water pressure in bathroom sink in room 117 and the TV did not work either. The bed is very small for 2 persons. We stayed there last February and since then Kingsway has lowered its standards!!. Lights in the corridors were flashing continuously, bulbs needed changing, but apparently the maintenance guy has been away!! Certainly not an excuse, as clients are paying the same amount of money!.Will definitely not stay there again as those kind of rooms are over priced!
Location, close to Paddigton Station and Hyde Park. Wifi signal was good.
Room was small, but for price it was ok. Breakfast was ok, either full English breakfast or toast and cereal. Would have liked to see fruit or yogurt.
Not very much, The breakfast was fair.
I thought I could have parking, no one would reply to my emails. Our room was on the top floor with no lift this was difficult. The toilet wouldn't flush and kept filling up all night very noisy. The water in the shower was dangerously hot and was hard to regulate.
Good location for Hyde park, bedroom on the small side but adequate, shower room was clean , breakfast was good help yourself to toast coffee tea and juices, £10 per day to park car onsite a but cheeky but cheaper than a car park I suppose, but all in all not a bad stay
Very clean breakfast room - breakfast itself was good, choice of cereal, fruit juice, toast and jam with a hot cooked breakfast.
Rooms very small. Very noisy at night - no road noise but could hear doors shutting, people talking etc. Although bedding was spotless the pillows were lumpy and bed very hard - not a good night's sleep. TV remote control not reliable! Carpets in rooms need a good clean!!
Location is great and compared to London prices it is cheap - staff is friendly - but everything else very basic or even less...
The room is of course tiny and didn't seem to be heated at all - and the radiator seemed out of order - tv didn't work too well either....don't know if that only applies to my room or all rooms though.
The location is very good. Close to Paddington Station.
Lugging our luggage up the narrow stairs. No one to help. There was no telephone in our room and the TV was not working for our entire stay
Locality and closeness to transport and food outlets
Breakfast times as most tours start early and this was not catered for.
close to Padington station
1.desirable to diversify breakfasts, there is no cheese and vegetables 2.Came time to renew your wardrobe is going to fall apart 3.Too crowded bathroom
I like the location only. Nothing else.
They gave us a room in the basement. No elevator and the stairs weren't very comfortable. Breakfast was poor also
