Good,
Score from 173 reviews
“ One of the best value for money hotels I have ever stayed at........and I have stayed at hundreds! The staff are most friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The cuisine is first class. Within minutes you are on the beach or shopping. The seaview rooms are well worth the small premium. There is no hotel in Worthing that I would rather stay at. Highly recommended! ”

Most enjoyable stay, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel room was spacious and cleaned every day, and the breakfast was very good.

Myself and my friend stayed one night here in April 2013 as we were running the Brighton Marathon the next day. The hotel was great for our budget and just what we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. They responded to our request for an early breakfast on marathon morning. The room was adequate, comfortable bed. Very nice dining area and nice food. Great location for a weekend away as right on the seafront. On the whole, very happy. Thank you to Matt the hotel manager for a nice stay. Hotel is old and does need some modernising. The windows in our room let the wind in so they need replacing. But this is a minor gripe. Overall we are satisfied.

Room and en-suite was fine, staff pleasant, location convenient (to me). I was there for the Brighton marathon, and they claimed to offer "carbs", but the hotel menu had no pasta! This is somewhat careless. This isn't a modern building; I quite like faded genteel, but if you don't, its not for you.

Clean room but cold Very comfortable bed with lovely views of beach Room cold - only one radiator working. Delays in restaurant even though we booked. Different menu in room to restaurant and no cutlery on table. No poppadoms with curry. Clearly understaffed

Was a last minute booking and staff helpful with this The room had not been cleaned, the bed had dirty sheets on it and the towels were used. Sorted out by going to see duty manager.

The room was spacious and warm during a very cold week. Spotlessly clean. That the package for 5 nights didnt offer a breakfast'deal'. Breakfast was advertised on line as £7.50 but even a small choice of cold breakfast was £7.95, and cooked £9.95. may be a breakfast offer over for three nights or more would discourage people from eating as as we did.

Friendly front desk. Little bit of dedicated parking. Room a little cramped. Could have been a bit more generous on tea and coffee!

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good location to meet our needs. Room comfortable, clean, although dated in some aspects, i.e. fixtures & fittings and en-suite had seen better years. Comfortable bed and nice furniture. Exterior clean and bright. Nothing that is a real negative, only to say that the room does need updating in some aspects. The exterior will look nice with some nice shrubs and seasonal plants to add some colour.

The staff were friendly and helpful, despite the Manager been absent because of snow. The hotel takes dogs which is a great help as no other hotel does in Worthing. The hotel needs new windows as the current ones are very old. I understand this update is in hand. The electrics in our room were not up to standard as the plugs blew. The night staff did not know were the fuse box was located.

I booked a room in this hotel but on arrival I was sent to a room that was behind the hotel and it was inside a house. This house Kingsway Town House Hotel was a hous adjacent the hotel. The room was very very very dirty. I tooked pictures of the bathroom that it was disgusting. When I mentioned to the reception that I booked a room in the hotel and that I did not want to go somewhere else they told me that I had to go there. I have accepted to stay there because it was late and the next day I had a business meeting in Worthing. I am very disappointed because I have booked a 3 stars hotel and I have ended up in a dump....

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The road traffic noise was almost unbearable, not helped by the old single glazed window with the catches broken.
