As soon as we entered kingswood hotel we were greeted by staff who were unsure about our booking until they eventually found our reservation. He asked ifwe could pay straight away So my partner took out his card. The staff were unsure of how to use the machine so he said to us pay later. We were then taken to our room which was disgusting. It smelt disgusting. Dirty mattress. Scuff marks on the walls. Toilet was not too bad. Furniture was old and cheap. Everything needs updating. When I opened the window to let some fresh air into the room, my view was a roof will loads of rubble on it and rubbish. Might aswell of been a skip! We didn't spend much time in the room that morning as we had a wedding to go to. Upon return after a lovely day we were quiet tired so couldn't wait to get some sleep. We were greeted by another member of staff. To which he said 'pay now'. I found this very rude as it was 1:30am in the morning and it wasn't if we were going anywhere. In the morning we were rudely awoken by a staff member who was speaking very loudly on the phone at 8am. Typical so we got our things and went as soon as we could. We paid £45 for the room! Better off spending a little more to get somewhere decent. Never stay here!!!!

Good value budget hotel chosen because it was near to where we had business to conduct. Walking distance from shops bars and restaurants but in a quiet pleasant area. Plenty of parking. Would have been nice to have breakfast included.

Free parking The water was cold in the morning, so the shower was not a pleasant experience. When I asked the porter, he said the manager would come at 11.00 am to turn it on because he did not know how (this would have been far top late for us). On departure, he claimed the boiler had been on all the time. If this was so, the water was not reaching the 3rd floor.

Inexpensive & close to our work location Although there was not a bar or restaurant offered, there seemed to be a party going on most of the night.

Went to the nearby Fat Duck in Bray :) The kingswood was a convenient and comfortable place to crash before and after. Nice bedding and bathrooms made for a pleasant stay. Good value.

Used to have a nice restaurant - doesn't anymore - so no breakfast. All a bit tatty - lots of heat though - and what do you expect for £40?

Not much; its relatively cheap, but you get what you pay for. Staff fairly helpful Its noisy - a lot of doors banging till quite late. Price quoted for room doesnt include breakfast. They may not even offer breakfast. Despite calling itself a hotel, you cannot get an evening meal Bed was uncomfortable

Good sized room for me and my two teenagers at a very reasonable price. A bit anonymous (not sure I had found the right place when I got there). No lift (had to carry luggage up 3 floors.) Room clean and decent, but a bit scruffy.

Wanted a soft drink for me & my children and although there was a bar was told to go to the shop one minute walk up the road. Found this extremely unhelpful as was dark outside & I was alone with 2 young children. Also asked if breakfast was available at a cost was told no but not given an idea of where I could get it from by the unfriendly staff. Bed Sheets were stained with what looked like blood.
