You get what you pay for, basic room, comfortable enough for one night.

Carpet could do with more cleaning, and the same with shower (which also was quite blocked)

The restaurant (Asian) was excellent! The main attraction of the hotel itself is its relatively good value for money.

I've said that I wouldn't recommend Maidenhead to other travellers. Places like Cookham are much nicer. However, this hotel is good value and easily in reach of nicer places by train or car.

Very little not to like for the price

We could walk into the town easily. Staff were friendly. Parking.

Too many things to mention. Taps dripping, doors squeeking, paint chipped, shower old rusty, useless antique tv with a box wobbling on top and whole place needs a lick of paint and serious tlc.

The room was disgusting dirty, had holes in the walls, head boards were filthy and the bathroom you could not go in in bare feet. I have taken photos it was so bad.

Welcoming, friendly staff, excellent food downstairs in the restaurant. Very reasonably priced.

I booked it because it was close to Windsor racecourse and not as expensive as Windsor itself. The Indian restaurant downstairs (open 6- 10pm staffed by very pleasant Philippinas) was ok for dinner.

They stuck me in the loft on the 2nd floor (an attic conversion). I bumped my head several times on the sloping ceiling. I would have expected a proper room for the price which was high enough to have included breakfast.

The bed was quite comfortible

I thought the hotel was a bit basic you said on the internet you would get a on sweut bathroom this was not what expected.and i thought the fact their was no bed and breackfast. the room needs to be up dated.

Bed extremely comfortable, powerful hot shower, tea/coffee/biscuits replenished. New carpet.

Small leak from toilet cistern, cosmetic update needed at base of shower.

Indian Restaurant

Car park was very cramped and easy to damage vehicle. More a restaurant with rooms than a hotel with restaurant.

Great value for money. £50 for a family room for a night easter weekend I thought was great value. Room was simple but a great size and clean. Staff were fantastic and a great help. Parking just outside. Highly recommended.

Could do with updating but for the money and location I thought it was perfect.

Difficult to find. Internet only available from select location.

It was clean, warm, comfortable beds, slept well, good shower with plenty hot water and good pressure. Good hair dryer. Towels and sheets changed often, tea/coffee making facilities good. Staff friendly and helpful. Large room, two comfortable arm chairs, storage adequate.

Bathroom very small, nowhere to hang towels, no shelf to put toilet bags etc, over sink light did not work properly. Had to ask for bedside lamp. The whole place was very tired, paintwork chipped and needed a lot of tlc. Breakfast only between 7 -8 A.M. too early, had to bring in rolls, butter and marmamade from our family nearby or wait until we went there for breakfast.

The location was ideal. The staff were friendly.

the mattress on the bed was very hard but was changed on the second day.

The hotel was freezing cold as there was no heating!

Great staff. Do anything for you. Very helpful. Plenty of secure on site parking. Big room, great shower. On site restaurant very good.

Nobody about early in the morning.

Nothing at all

There was no heating in sub zero temperatures. Other people entered our room due to all keys fitting all rooms. TV came from the arc and only held reception for a few minutes. Floor in bathroom coming up. Staff were rude and swore infringing of customers.

The bathroom could do with a make over

Staff very friendly, coffe/tea machine in the room, close to town center, tv and WiFi, great quality/cost ratio.

No breakfast included but we managed to have it in the room anyway.
