restaurant was very good. easy to find. room was fair
no breakfast available
shower was luke warm
Location - works for me
This particular room - Room No 10 - was dreadful for noise, impossible to sleep. Firstly a water/heater tank gave off a lot of intermittent noise (gurgling) throughout the night, also a fan either next door or outside made a very loud droning noise from 3am on. at 1 am residents started banging doors and then staff members were heard talking very loudly at 2am. Totally unacceptable for the price paid. I've stayed in other rooms in this hotel and never had a problem. Owners need to address these issues as a matter of urgency
It's cheap! Room basic but functional with tea making facilities, TV and comfy bed. Far nicer and less plastic than a budget hotel. Staff were friendly and on site parking is a bonus.
The rooms are above an Indian restaurant which makes for a noisy environment. Don't stay here if your a light sleeper or ask for a room on the upper floor. The room was tired and could do with a refresh but for the price you can't argue.
Quiet room Very clean.
Shabby bathroom. TV unable to access main channels and it went off at midnight Had to wait ages for attention on afternoon arrival - no one around and indifferent you g man appears to have been awoken from sleep to attend to me and no pleasantries. I asked if a lift to first floor as I had a heavy case and I'm 67 and he said no lift and pointed to the stairs and walked past my case back to his room opposite the desk and closed the door.
resturant good. Reception staff good.
terrible bed. rooms really need updating. Very very basic.
Plug sockets on my room were not working. Staff changed my room straight away no fuss. I orderd a curry from the restaraunt and the staff bought it to my room and it was very nice. What hotel lacks in presentation it makes up for in friendly staff
The fact that neither of the bedside plug sockets worked. Decor dated. Needs a serious refurb.
Price location nice bar
When checking in they asked for id in the form of a passport or driving license neither of which I had. Fortunately my friend did. Apparently it was in case the police came and asked who was staying! Also only 1 glass and cup in a double room but 2 in the single room.
The service at the reception was very poor I guess he just being there for 2months talks in an aggressively rude way I don't care attitude even up too now thinking about my experience I don't feel safe it was very poor imagine a receptionist telling u is ur business if u think his rude saying ur stupid without u even making trouble just a lil Q I asked of him why am I asked for my ID he got defensively I believe they have an abnormal receptionist that's what I put into consideration like he is not fit mentally to work nd is not fair on him he should do the dishes or something I wouldn't recommend this place am sorry dirty as well
- Banging doors throughout the entire stay. - No breakfast available - Lights not working properly - Not enough towels or cups - Bathroom was hideous
Hotel is situated 10 minute walk from the town centre, rooms are above the indian restaurant.Room was a basic single room , with shower & toilet, clean and tidy, comfortable bed, room with a little wear showing, not too bad,ok for night or so, but basic. In a respectable safe area. For the money all in all ok, but don,t expect Premier Inn!
No one specifically on reception when arriving and departing. No option for breakfast
Poor service during check in Small, uninspiring room In need of revamp
The single room they have me was shocking. If health and safty saw the room they put me in they would close the room down it was not fit for anyone to stay there. I plugged my phone charger in the wall and the hole socket went though the wall. There was mould around the skirting bored. The shower after 10 minuets got Luke warm and that was it the water would not run out the bottom and filled if quite fast. The metal towl rail in the bathroom was all rusty. The wardrobe had a door at the back of it with lost of routers and wires on show. The staff when I advised them of all this just shrugged it off did not offer to move rooms or anything. Very bad hotel and should not be ok booking.com. unsafe
The in house Indian restaurant is one of the best I've ever visited, so it was worth staying there just for that! The staff were very friendly when we saw them! The hotel is situated in a residential area, so it was quiet and felt safe. It was within easy reach of the town centre.
The room wasn't ready when we checked in. This wasn't a problem as we were able to dump our bags in the unmade room and go out to explore the area! No staff around during the day! TV in the room was very very small!
Cheapest digs I could find ! £50 a night is good for maidenhead
Rooms where dirty and smelt of stale curry from the Indian restaurant downstairs , noisy also
Reasonable price given my late booking. Good location esp if working in Maidenhead. Bathroom (WC, sink + shower) perfectly functional and clean, room was recently hoovered and tidied. TV worked well. If it matters my room was at the top of the building.
Badly cleaned duvet with a nasty crusty mark on it (I could have have tried to exchange it but didn't notice it until late in the night.). Laundry needs to be re-examined. No mattress protector, sheet only (bring your own, or at least bring another sheet to add another layer between you and the mattress). I felt a bit uneasy about what was separating me from the mattress since who knows when that was last cleaned.
Quiet in the mornings so could lie in undisturbed. Comfortable bed.
The manager's idea of a quiet room was not mine. ie Indian music from the restaurant below playing until about 11pm, phone ringing and door banging. No breakfast option. Concerned about safety as the towel rail in the bathroom had exposed and broken casing. Fire alarm (false apparently went off at 4 am one night). Maid did not take and replace clean cups.
Nice location, close to town and train. The man doing the hoovering was very friendly :) nice carpet in room
Old and dated, stain on duvet, broken bath panel, dust, needs to and had not hot or even warm water the day we left
The restaurant was lovely with good service the food was great!
great location to Heathrow
Staff were not friendly
The location is a key aspect as the hotel is close to the centre of Maidenhead (a 10 minute walk or few minutes by car). The room was quiet (No.9) and faced the front of the property. The linen was clean and the bed comfortable.
The decor was tired and the bathroom needed attention as the shower had mould around the base and showed signs of a long-term leak. I was concerned by the only available socket because it had been pushed into the wall and was very loose. In fact, it moved into the wall when I tried to plug in a phone charger.
Location and price were good
Wi-fi was not good. Decor a bit dated!! For family's it was quite noisy with restaurant below.
Just the Price
No Telephone in Room No Hot Water in the Morning Struggled to Find Staff No Bar Open Didn't seem to be open for Breakfast altough included within cost
It is in a very central location which makes it useful for business trips, other rooms might be worth trying.
Don't stay in room 11, this is a ground floor room right next to the double doors from the kitchen to the restaurant which means you are constantly bothered by the noise of the doors opening and closing, this went on to about midnight. Sadly the facilities in the room were lacking, half of the plug sockets didn't work, there was no light bulb in the bedside lamp and no offer of one. The room was not the cleanest. There were no hotel staff who were able to help either.
