we booked the kinmel hotel because of location & car parking, although we come to llandudno quite often we do try different hotels every time.we had 3 nights this time in between christmas & the new year, llandudno promenade was a absolute delight to walk through this time of the year particularly in the evening with all the hotels decorated beautifully for the christmas season. most of all we found the staff at the kinmel hotel so friendly that we are already considering a return in the near future. breakfast at the kinmel has been the best by far out of all the hotels we have ever stayed in, all in all excellent.. the lack of natural light from the small window in the attic room.

Very pleasant hotel, great location on the seafront with handy free car parking behind. Just a very short stroll to the shopping area as well as being opposite the beach with lovely views of the prom and sea. Very useful to have inter-connecting room for our children, the reason I booked, and the reason I would book again. Can't fault the staff, they were very pleasant and extremely helpful. Little bar was just the thing after a cold night on the prom. Some of the room decor was a bit dated and the furniture a bit hotch potch but the age of the bathroom suite is less important than the cleanliness of it, and you couln't beat the beds for comfort.

My Daugher and myself stayed with my 2 grandchildren aged 9, we found it not too fussy for the children, but we were not put at the back of the Hotel which some Hotels do if you have children. The family room was plenty big enough which had a seaview and we would stay again when we next visit Llandudno. The breakfast was substantial and plenty of choice for both adults and children.

Staff were friendly and helpful' breakfast was good and plentiful, with plenty of 'top-ups'. Heating was on constantly and room was a little overheated, also the boiler was noisy making it hard to sleep, this could be just my particular room. In my friends room there were no bulbs in the table lamps, and the shower in my room was very difficult to adjust becoming either very hot or very cold.

The enormous breakfast was beautifully cooked! The bed was also very comfortable. There was no welcome pack/leaflet in the room so I didn't know when breakfasts were served.

I was extremely impressed with your directions to the hotel as I was travelling up from London and felt they were spot on... I didn't get lost once so very well done on achieving that. It is very close to shops and restaurants so that is always a bonus when staying somewhere new and the parking facilities made life so much easier. I had requested a specific room which I had seen in the photo gallery but I was allocated another which wasn't as nice so I was a little disappointed. Unfortunately Room 11 has a poor mattress so I had a very uncomfortable night's sleep and the shower was very basic! Your staff were lovely and very helpful though.

The best thing about this hotel by far was the staff. From the time you arrive you are made to feel welcome, the service is good and nothing is too much trouble. The food was also very good. The family room in which we stayed needed refurbishing as it felt old, a bit dirty and the bathrooms smelled musty.

The Hotel was directly on the Sea Front immediately opposite the Promenade. The Hotel had Free parking at the rear for about 13 cars provided you arrived in a reasonable time. The Bedroom was very clean and the Beds were comfortable. The Breakfeast was excellent with ample food of high quality excellently cooked. Because the weekend we visited the Resort was very busy we found ourselves on the top floor in the Attic. Although the room had a Sea View it was difficult to see out the bedroom window because the bottom of the window was at floor level. Like many Budget Hotels the Bathroom and Shower was very small and the flow of water from the shower was a bit disappointing.Couldn`t get the tv to work appeared to be stuck on dvd - No Disc.

“The locatiion of this hotel is superb as it is on the beach front with only a short walk around the corner to the towns high street. Decour and fittings are all in good modern taste with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. The staff are all polite, well presented and helpful. In particular, i found the young lady receptionist a credit to the establishment. My room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had the usual choice of full english, toast and cereals.” Richard, Biggleswade |
