Sehr schönes, gemütliches Design. So stellt man sich ein kleines, nettes, schottisches Hotel vor. Gutes Restaurant im Erdgeschoss, fantastisches Frühstück, gut gelegen für Glasgowtrips und Fahrradausflüge. Echt toll! |

Rooms were pleasant if a little old fashioned. Rooms to the front were very noisy. In recent hot weather it would have been sensible to draw the blinds or curtains during the day. Good food and pleasant staff Lengthy queues in the evening to be rerved in the bar and to order food. Staff themseves said there were not enough people on duty |

I thought the room was lovely, the staff were very nice and the breakfast included in the charge was good. The view from our room was also beautiful. The shower was not good - I couldn't get it warm and the water pressure was poor. |

Excellent service from the staff, great food. Good location for hillwalkers etc. View onto the binstore and neighbouring flats meant curtains were kept closed. Constant noise from what seemed to be the kitchen ventilation became very irritating. |

The hotel is beautifully maintained and presented in a beautiful spot.The hotel staff was excellent as was the food. I would realy recommend this hotel and will definately use it again |

The location near the West Highland Way was a key factor as well as the rating in slecting the Inn. It was very comfortable. |

Room was lovely. The hotel itself has been a very high class establishment in the early 90's, now looks a little dated but still very nice, clean and the staff were very good. Relaxed atmosphere but good service without any fuss. We did not eat at the hotel as the menu all looked a bit heavy for our liking - however we had just had three days of overeating so this may explain it! We stayed in the room above reception where there was a flag above our window. The noise of the flagpole in the wind took a bit of getting used to but really not a problem for the money we paid. Water pressure was a bit low for shower! But again good value so not a problem |

I liked its location, it was close to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. It was also nicely situated in the country side. Kirkhouse Inn was cosy and welcoming, I would stay there agian. It was good value for money. |

An excellent small hotel with really good food. I used to stay here on business regularly forty years ago when it was part of the Stakis Group. Today it is at least as good as it used to be, probably better. |

cleanliness friendly staff would have liked some entertainment as this was only thing hotel lacks but wont be put off as we have used this hotel a few times now in the past and look forward to many more stays in the future. |

The ambience was great and the staff extremely helpful, professional but approachable. Overall we were extremely impressed with the hotel and it's relaxed atmosphere which enhanced our stay. Our room was superb with excellent facilities including WiFi. |

Very nice hotel in a lovely village just outside Glasgow, convenient for the city but pleasantly situated in a rural location. Food was good and the decor lovely. I already knew the area and the Kirkhouse did not disappoint! The advance purchase rate was excellent value for money. |

The room was very clean and comfortable, staff were excellent. The menu's in the room were confusing, as they did not state that there was different menu's for the restuarant and the bar. We went down to the restaurant expecting to have a really nice meal each for around £8 each but ended up paying £25.50 for 2 salads with chicken, the meal was excellent but they do need to clarify that there are different menu's. |
