Kirkhouse Inn  

Personnel très sympathique, repas bon, chambre et hôtel très propre

The room was massive and gorgeous! The bathroom was spacious and luxurious.

Can't think of anything.

The location was very good as very near our daughter who lives in Strathblane

The shower was almost non existent. The quality of the food was poor. No understanding of some of the dishes asked for - asked for egg Benedict and received an egg and bacon muffin. The same staff member who served us saw us 20 minutes later and asked if we wanted breakfast. We were looked out one evening and had to bang on the door to get in.

The efficient and friendly manner of the staff, the quality of the meals, the location - so very near to the Campsies, the fact that it renewed our memories of the area, which we used to visit regularly before and in our early married years for walks around the scenic countryside; also with our very young children at the time and the invariable visit to the Kirkhouse Inn (- or as our children called it - The Kirkiehouse Inn. We hope the visit has renewed our interest in the Kirkhouse Inn.

The room (18) was very warm and scrupulously clean. The bed was comfy and the water for bath and shower was very hot.

The T.V. seemed to have only two channels.

Staff, clean room, location and locality.

Limited evening bar menu, lack of variety of local beers (not American pop, Budweiser etc.) or Tennants lager, Peroni and the like. Genuine hand pulled beer is needed.

Excellent food. Very nice view to the Firth of Forth. 45 min. to Edinburgh town centre. 30 min. to EDI.

WLAN is slow and not available in all rooms.

Very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff. Excellent food and good value for money. Accepted dog as a guest and treated accordingly. Would deffinately recommend.

The staff were friendly and rooms clean.

Rooms were very hot and our bathroom quite basic, shower didn't work. The choice of food for gluten free was limited however the chef did his best to accommodate me.

the package offered was great value for money. The room alloted to us was lovely, nice view from all 6 windows at the front. Very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast and lovely evening meal served in the dining room. The decor etc was lovely and we will book this hotel again in the future. Many thanks. A & A, Argyll

It was homely, comfortable and well placed for our stop on the way to a Glasgow wedding the next day.

The staff were really friendly, the food was excellent, the room also was xl, however, we were at the back of the hotel with no view out of the window.

The lack of a view and the room was very hot at night, no a/c or maybe a standing fan.

Friendly, convenient, good value.

Noisy, doors in bedrooms and corridors bang everytime anyone goes through them, not good at midnight or 5.00am.
