This shoe box hotel is not even worthy. Tiny small room, with very confused rules, people even can not eat in the room. The staff is not so friendly. This is not a hotel, it is just a B&B without breakfast. Not worthy at all

Access to car parking outside the B&B. I was disappointed to learn on B&B did not provide breakfast. This was not obvious from the booking and previous teastomonies referred to the booking. I think they should be more up front about this. Hence I do not feel it was value for money.

None in particular. Due to a technical problem, the WIFI connection was not available. The problem was tackled slowly and when I left, it had not been solved, yet. I am aware that these problems can occur, but the owners of the guest house could have been much more reactive and efficient.

Kirkwood House was clean and tidy; though my contact with the staff member was minimal, he was very pleasant upon arrival and departure. The wash basin was very small, in order to fill the kettle you had to use a glass, as you couldn't put the kettle under the tap.

We came to see a family member and Kirkwood House was perfectly located. The room was cosy and quiet, clean, like a little cottage separated from the main house. There was a lot of coffee and tea available. After a long driving a little biscuit would have been nice though. The room was warm, bed was good and bathroom clean, with enough of hot water. Late check-out was very convenient and appreciated. It is true that the lack of breakfast was indicated first after booking. On the other hand we were happy to enjoy breakfast together with our family member spending quality time with her. There are a lot of nice places offering breakfast in Cambridge.

Helpful person on arrival. Very clean room with good view towards Cambridge. Small but very clean bathroom and excellent power shower. No breakfast meant a quick getaway.. The building is rather plain, set on a main road (though I had a quiet back room).

The place was very quiet and nice. The best of all was the bed and clean bedding. They made me feel at home. The bathroom has no hot water pressure every time (hot water from the shower).

Within walking distance of the city centre. They called in advance to check when I was checking in and made arrangements so I could get in. They were very courteous I thought it was a b&b, ultimately my mistake, but it could've been much clearer. My room door was very hard to open, the carpet hadn't been fitted properly. I couldn't access the wi-fi till the last day.

It was fairly conveniently placed for the city, the colleges and restaurants [pubs]. It was fairly quiet. All the various appliances worked and the shower was good. We needed breakfast but we were not misled by the staff or the brochure , so we got over it. The "en suite bathroom" was too small for me - I'm a bigger than usual size, and being elderly, fairly awkward. But I survived. The bed was very narrow and rather hard - but we were told it would be 2'6"

Convenient. That is all. The shower had no hot water on the first morning. The next morning there was no shower flow at all. Used a different room and again it had no hot water. Avoid this hotel until they get their shower system sorted. This should not be an issue for a hotel.
