Hotel parking which is at a minimum in Bournemouth. There were enough spaces when I stayed Breakfast started at 8.30am. I was on a conference & I was very pushed for time as breakfast started too late. Would have been ok if I was there for pleasure |

The service and breakfast was excellent and the location was brilliant for the beach. The beds could be longer I have a partner who is over 6ft and his feet hung off the end of the bed and the shower needs to be hotter |

Very friendly and helpful staff with good knowledge of the local area. Delicious breakfast. Great location for the beach. I also realise the hotel's decor is somewhat out of date, however this is not a negative as it has character and a certain charm. |

The service provided by the staff was impressive. All staff were polite and attentive. The hotel has something about it which gives it a unique character which made me want to go back again. My room was like a 1970s time warp. They need to do some upgrading. |

The bed was clean but uncomfortable, clean towels were provide each day. The food at breakfast was excellant but menial The the food was good but very poor service, hotel management very poor together with a bad attitudes. This hotel seriously needs updating in decor and furniture to come into the 21st century. We will never use this hotel ever again The attitude of the senior management indicates the requirement for retraining urgently |

When I arrived the door was locked, and no one to open it. I called the hotel by phone then someone finally came to open the door. Location is perfect, room was very basic and I mean very basic. Would not stayed longer then one night and do not recommend staying longer. |

Felt `at home` right away when greeted by one of the owners at reception. The room I had for one was a double and though on the small side the on-suite bathroom was ample and the shower very efficient. Lovely dining room and food excellent served by staff who gave service with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast kippers on my last day were awsome and served with egg and a whole fresh baked tomato. This family run premises is excellent in every way and will be my first choice when returning to bournemouth. |

We thought it very convenient for the beach and town. Loved the fact we could get to the cliff top and beach so quickly. After dinner e.g. we really enjoyed an evening stroll and the cliff walks were beautiful. We thought the beach was very good. Everything seemed very clean in Bournmouth. We thought the food was good. The service was very good. It was excellent value for money. Sensible and helpful about the parking the day we checked out. They let us stay parked in what was a limited space car park. This was most kind. Really appreciated. A bit noisy as it was by a busy road. We had to keep the window closed at night but the draught exclusion was so efficient that it was then completely quiet, though a bit hot! It would have been better if the white wine we had at dinner had been chilled! Some could say the decor was a bit dated (the ensuite e.g.) but being over 60, this decor was familiar! A very minor issue for us and we're literally scratching around to think of something to find fault with!! Re the review question below. Some I agreed with others not. Hence I did not tick a box there! |
