Great base for sightseeing, clean and comfortable.
Kitchenette lacked some essential
Wifi in the rooms was nice and snappy. Location is great for exploring London. Not too far from the tube, and well serviced by the nearby service strip.
Furniture and room fittings the worst I've experienced. Broken wardrobe nearly collapsed on me (light switch was located behind). Shower head worn through to provide a depressed trickle of water. Toilet seat was worrying. Bed frame had snapped, with a sunken middle part. Odours present throughout. Had to grin and bear our experience, given the low cost and availability of other places. If there are other options, avoid at all costs. Service was satisfactory, and a thanks to the staff, but the facilities are just terrible.
staff member was very helpful location was great
bathroom was tiny room maintenance was poor room size was tight with extra bed
5 minute walk from the tube station.
Took 15 minutes of telephone calls to get into the place, we were eventually let in by Mohamid, who said very little, more or less name, credit card here's your room keys and room number, the room was small for three adults, the street outside very noisy, especially at night, the walls are paper thin, listened to the very noisy people next door until two in the morning, cleanliness was very poor room dusty, bed sheets clean but blood stains on one of the sheets, beds very uncomfortable, toilet/shower tiny, ceiling in the bedroom badly marked from previous flooding. when we arrived back later in the evening we discovered that the extractor fan in the toilet had fallen out of the ceiling, followed by some water and dirt, tried to complain the next morning, but Mohamid seemed more interested in getting away to brush his teeth (tooth brush in hand) he did say he would tell the manager. AVOID at all costs, you have been warned !.
Good location, helpful staff. Clean.
Cleaning my room before check out time.
Rooms were fine and clean, staff were very helpful, making sure they were there at 11:45 p.m. when I finally arrived! location is absolutely great!
From reading the reviews from others off this site I wasn't looking forward to my stay at all. Upon arrival the friendly staff helped us out with our room key and showed us where to go. Separate bedroom, living area + bathroom. Had a TV, fridge, kettle, cooking hobs and was nice and modern. Room 17 incase anyone so wondering.
Pots in cupboards dirty, outer balcony not accessible, only 1 room key, shower holder broken, dusty, no hair dryer, no toiletries. Lift can only fit 1 at a time but stairs aren't much to handle.
Location is really good because it's only a few minutes from Earl's Court tube station. If you happen to be given a room that looks into the backside garden you are really lucky because then you can get a good night's sleep as this room is very quiet. Staff very friendly.
It didn't come up to what was promised when I booked: a 25 sqm room was 17sqm at most, the wooden floor was not wooden but a stained carpet, the hair dryer given in the room-description did not exist, the fully equipped kitchen (+oven) is definitely more than just slightly exaggerated.
Location was good, near to Earl's Court tube. The TV was good and had the Freeview channels - it's surprising how many places can't even get a working TV with Freeview and a working remote. The room had plenty of space. Wardrobe was good. The bed was fine.
There was a bad smell in the room. And on the first night I found out why - with heavy rain it started coming through around the window frame, soaking part of the curtains and the carpet. This is the only reason I wouldn't go back. The microwave was a bit high up, could be a problem if you're not tall.
loved the location, the staff was very helpful. lovely to cook for myself in the room and I had a bell so could order some pizza too
the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and we couldn't cuddle during the night as the beds would push apart too easy.
Good location. Staff was ok
The furnishing were poor quality. The toliet and shower were the size of phone box. The shower door could not be fully opened as it hit the sink. The carpet was filthy. Bed linen cheap..the towels were the the same. Plaster was peeling from the wall. Electrical outlets appeared not to be working. Not worth 100 pounds which equals $175 US per night.
Close to Earls Court tube, room was clean, staff were pleasant and very helpful. If you're looking for a cheap hotel in the centre of London then this is a good option.
Rooms are quite small but then you get what you pay for!
- Location close to Earl's çourt station and around 20 min walking distance to the main shopping areas around Knightsbridge, etc - Lots of storage space if staying for a longer time, and a long lounge couch was a nice touch - Can cook, had microwave, cooker, toaster
- The toilet seat was disgusting and it's apalling the management don't see fit to change replace - The water kettle was a serious health hazard, filthy and had some kind of weird stuff growing inside - DO NOT use for drinking ! - Bed was too soft.. almost felt like a water bed. Doubts about cleanliness of the beddings. - Room was adjacent to the street, and window was propped open to allow in fresh air with an aluminium cup. - Difficult to get a taxi outside and no staff was available to assist in calling one at 8am
Very uncomfortable beds, very shabby decor, no mirrors near plug sockets for hair dryer/straighteners. One of our rooms was quite dirty!
Recommend travelers not to stay overthere.
I even do not stay in that place eventhough I paid for 4 nights. No reception desk and the place in such a terrible condition.
The place was filthy and badly managed
The location was fantastic. Just a few minutes from Earls Court Tube, and within easy reach of great reasonably priced wine bars and restaurants. The room was ok. It served its purpose as a base for the weekend. The valance on the bdouble bed was badly stained, and looked like it hadnt been changed in months.
There was no mirror in the room, and as we were 3 girls - getting ready at the same time was a problem. I would have liked to have had fresh towels every day. Someone came into the room and made the beds, but didnt change the towels.
Easy to find location, central. Room very basic but ok for the money.
Cooking facilities were appalling. The portable hob didn't work.. all I could use was a microwave (no thanks), kettle and toaster. Hardly self catering! Had to ask for ironing equipment which consisted of a very dirty battered ironing board that wouldn't even stay standing up and a travel iron well passed its usefulness!
Nice area and room included good essentails
The rooms don't look like the rooms in the picture
1. The location is excellent. 2. The Sudanese gentleman in reception was very cooperative and polite. 3. Were provided a fan on request.
1. The floor in Apartment 12 has a noticeable slope. Absolutely weird feeling staying in the apartment. 2. Not worth the price paid. Better to stay in a triple room in a decent hotel.
Price and cleanliness
No change of towels. No laundry facilities, even though it was listed as a facility. Asked for twin room, given double. In a very poor state overall. Will never stay there again. Avoid.
