Very convenient position. Easy parking (free). Perhaps we thought 4 stars were a bit much as we had no bath which was a disappointment. As it was raining it was a bore having to walk to the main hotel for breakfast.

The room and hotel accomodation were very good. Lovely gardens. The welcome on the reception desk could have been friendlier and more informative. Though have to say it was only the first receptionist the others were fine.

The room was quiet. The architecture is interesting. The location is convenient. As there was no air conditioning and the room was very warm, the sole means of ventilation being by opening windows creates a sense of insecurity.

Liked the location of the hotel. Did not use Spa facility which was a shame. Very disappointed with the quality of the meal at the pub opposite (part of the complex) - the chips were cooked in poor-quality oil which left a nasty after-taste. This was on top of having had to wait quite a while for our meal. However, we thought the breakfast was excellent and all the food very hot and full of flavour.

The staff are amazing and so very helpful, the rooms are beautiful and had the added bonus of patio doors and a balcony. It was just a totally perfect weekend for us. Nothing.

We were at the hotel to attend a family funeral. We arrived early before our room was ready, but the staff made us very welcome & directed us to the Farmers Arms which was on the complex. We were given a complimentary room upgrade, which came as a surprise. The room was spotless & very welcoming with every thing that you could ask for, for a comfortable stay. We had a very enjoyable stay, even considering the circumstances for our visit. Would return again & would highly recommend this hotel. It was bl***y cold outside!!!

Leaving!! This is a very dated and noisy hotel. Room with faded wall paper and very old bathroom. Not double glazed. Not sound proofed could hear everything in the surrounding rooms. No TV signal in room (no longer has Sky). Hotel needs updating now. definitely not worth £100 for one night.

We liked having access to the gym and pool. We ate in the dining room on the first evening. The food was acceptable but expensive for what it was.

I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at this hotel. The staff were helpful in a truly genuine way, nothing was too much trouble for them and they appeared to be very happy to be able to assist. The lady in the restaurant even recalled speaking to me on the telephone about my booking, how good is that?! The rooms were warm and comfortable, clean and well equiped and I got a complimentary upgrade on my return stay in a room which was simply amazing - thank you. My family and I had Sunday lunch in the restaurant, considering how close it was to Christmas there was not much of a festive feel. The restaurant also looks a little tired and dated compared to some other areas of the hotel.

We didnt use the spa or swimming pool as we were too busy out shopping ha !! but next time we visit I will try and make time to use them. The farmers pub that is in the grounds was good, nice meals in the evening, this hotel has everything you could wish for ,I will be returning for sure . There was nothing I didnt like about this hotel

Good location for Kings Lynn and North Norfolk My view of this hotel is clouded, as when I checked in I didn't notice that on the bedside cabinet were the following items - half empty glass of wine, half bottle of lucozade and a toilet role, pictures available. Having returned to my room late there was little I could do. Having complained in the morning I have had no response.

It was close to our family. Room decor was tired. Breakfast hot food was not hot enough. I drew attention to blocked basin in room 101, although I was assured it had been looked at, the problem remained. It was expensive for what was provided.

“Room was of a good standard, clean and tidy. Even had a four poster bed which was a real bonus. Staff were attentive, extremely personable and couldn't cater more for your needs. Plusall the locals were welcoming too. Couldn't recommend it more.” Mathew, Blaina |
