Good location for Kings Lynn and North Norfolk My view of this hotel is clouded, as when I checked in I didn't notice that on the bedside cabinet were the following items - half empty glass of wine, half bottle of lucozade and a toilet role, pictures available. Having returned to my room late there was little I could do. Having complained in the morning I have had no response.

The Staff were helpful. The Leisure Facilities where good. The room was spacious & quiet overlooking the Garden. The food in the Bar restaurant area by the main gate was awful & the service was dreadful. We had invited our son & Daughter in law too. Having given us our Main course which was inedible by myself & Husband , the Staff never came back to see if we wanted a desert or Coffeee . When I went to pay on the way out the manager gave me a refund on my meal, but tried to give me a lecture on Fish, My Husband has fished for 40 years commercially & I too have a Fishing Licence for Lobster.! We have since stayed at Bridgend Best Western the last 2 days where the food was Excellent & the Bed was 6ft & very comfortable, & much cheaper.

relaxing atmosphere Reception staff not very professional - very young and rather indifferent. Certainly would not go out of their way in helping - very little eye contact - just interested in chatting with other staff members. I have actually stayed several times before - it would have been nice to have had a 'welcome back'. Not a very good impression given I'm afraid.

This was a wonderful weekend with brilliant facilities and food both from hotel and the farmers arms. I'm sure we shall be back again as it is well situated for the town of King's Lynn, the coast or Sandringham. Only drawback was that we couldn't bokk a treatment at the spa as they were fully booked. It would have been helpful to know in advance how booked up they get and also the many different treatments which were not apparent on the website.

Leaving!! This is a very dated and noisy hotel. Room with faded wall paper and very old bathroom. Not double glazed. Not sound proofed could hear everything in the surrounding rooms. No TV signal in room (no longer has Sky). Hotel needs updating now. definitely not worth £100 for one night.

We liked having access to the gym and pool. We ate in the dining room on the first evening. The food was acceptable but expensive for what it was.

I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at this hotel. The staff were helpful in a truly genuine way, nothing was too much trouble for them and they appeared to be very happy to be able to assist. The lady in the restaurant even recalled speaking to me on the telephone about my booking, how good is that?! The rooms were warm and comfortable, clean and well equiped and I got a complimentary upgrade on my return stay in a room which was simply amazing - thank you. My family and I had Sunday lunch in the restaurant, considering how close it was to Christmas there was not much of a festive feel. The restaurant also looks a little tired and dated compared to some other areas of the hotel.

The staff were very friendly, the food was exellant, they up graded our room free of charge, and it was big room ,and very clean,a good size tv ,tea/coffee making facilites (kettle) in room and biscuits put out every day, there was an iron/and ironing board too,all you needed. We didnt use the spa or swimming pool as we were too busy out shopping ha !! but next time we visit I will try and make time to use them. The farmers pub that is in the grounds was good, nice meals in the evening, this hotel has everything you could wish for ,I will be returning for sure . There was nothing I didnt like about this hotel

It was close to our family. Room decor was tired. Breakfast hot food was not hot enough. I drew attention to blocked basin in room 101, although I was assured it had been looked at, the problem remained. It was expensive for what was provided.

The room we had was large, had a great view and was very comfortable The bed was a bit soft for my liking, and a slightly later cut off time for breakfast on a saturday would be better (9:30 is a bit early when on holiday!)
