I liked everything about this place in the small seaside town. Within 10 minutes we were on the Beach with our fish and chips. The owners Hugh and Jenny were very nice, gave us tips of where to go, and they served us a proper and tasty English breakfast.
My companion did not like the WC/Shower combination in our room, but the house has other lovely rooms and the shared bath is very roomy.
Everything...hot english breakfast, the room, location etc. Kev and Jenny were brilliant hosts and made my stay very comfortable and helped with all my queries.
Hugh and Jenny are really lovely and so friendly. The breakfast was perfectly cooked. I thought it was like staying at a favourite uncle and aunt's house. My parents had a double room which was really good size and very comfortable.
My room was the single so it's next to the shared bathroom - not really a problem but some people might want to wear ear plugs if they are woken easily because you can hear the shower going.
Location..only a few minutes to the front. Breakfast was very good. Rooms and decor Cleanliness Very good hosts, could not do enough for you. Very comfortable beds
Ensuite too small..had to leave door open to use toilet.
Very friendly and lovely owners of this Very nice B&B Excellent breakfast and well looked after B&B
Clean and comfortable, good location and a very good breakfast
Excellent location and super breakfast
We paid cash and were due a small amount of change which never materialised. Also had to ask for a receipt.
Friendly Quiet Access
Very clean, lovely hosts, very central.
Nice and clean with friendly owners - just what you want from a B&B.
Hugh and Jenny made our stay very welcoming and homely. The premises is absolutely spotless.
The owners are lovely and welcoming. The rose print decorated room was so cute and comfortable. The breakfast was yummy but we really enjoyed the conversation with Hugh and Jenny. Nearby pubs are good for dinner
Nothing I can think of.
hugh, jenny were very nice. and more than helpful, thank you for a most pleasant stay.
The attitude of the owner of the property. I travelled by car for 8 hours during the Whitsun weekend and I phoned to say I was delayed. Upon arrival, the owner demanded money and would not listen to me or let me in. I explained that I telephoned 2 hours previously and confirmed that I left a voicemail, but he would not check receipt of the voicemail, called me a liar let me and ordered me to go to a bank at 10.30pm, in a small town, which I had not visited before. Upon begging, he relented and let me in.The room had midges/mosquitoes flying around, no heating, a thin duvet and blanket, which meant I had a freezing night. Quite possibly the worst experience in over 35 years of staying in accommodation from all over the world. I would recommend this accommodation to absolutely nobody, which is very sad
Friendly and accommodating. Lovely place to stay.
Friendly management . Well ran. Near to major spots. Shops, cafés and sea front.
Perfect in every way. 5 star service on a budget.
I stayed with my mother in law and partner and the welcome was lovely. The rooms were light and clean and we had everything we needed. Both the single and double room were spacious and breakfast was great.
I wasnt keen on a shared bathroom but as theres not many guests we had no problems with that either.
Too Expensive Breakfast wasn't good at all Bed was smelly
the room was very clean, had got tea &coffee making facilities.very cosy&homely.Hugh was very friendly and made us a cup of tea as soon as we got there.good choice of breakfast
we did have the on suite room but the shower room was very tiny only there for 2 days so was adequate
Made you very welcome and were very thoughtful - couldn't fault it.
Run out of Black Pudding :)
Good food Comfortable room
A clean, comfortable B&B. We really appreciated the friendliness of Hugh and Jenny who went out of their way to make us feel at home. A good traditional breakfast. Overall, an extremely good place to stay which we recommend.
The warm hospitable and caring couple who ran the guest house were ideal. The cleanliness and location could not be faulted. It was certainly value for money.
