the b/b owner hugh was a lovely guy so friendly and welcoming the breakfast was really nice just like the room we had very comfortable would stay again if in burnham.

Friendly welcome; charming couple. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable accommodation. Though bathroom was shared, this was no problem.

I was in the smallest room - had everything needed but very cramped. Fine for 2 nights but not for a longer stay. The other rooms looked excellent.

My stay was very comfortable and my hosts, Hugh and Jenny, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. I stayed in a single room which was very comfortable, clean and well heated. The breakfast was wonderful and I had the chance to sample some home-made marmalade which was delicious! Jenny and Hugh made the effort to give me a slightly earlier breakfast than advertised on my second morning, as I had to leave to catch my plane. Their gesture was very greatly appreciated as the journey itself was rather problematic. All in all I had a very friendly and family feel from this B&B, which is very near to town and within walking distance of most things, including the beach.

The rooms are all upstairs and there is a shared bathroom, which is not a problem so long as you are not in a hurry to use the toilet! This is not a criticism, just an observation. Parking can be very awkward with double yellow lines on both roads (the B&B is on the corner but the road is quiet). Choose very carefully where to park in order to avoid the traffic wardens wrath!

No en-suite. The shared bathroom was very small. The shower curtain was horribly clingy, not nice when your in a shared bathroom situation.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Good choice of food for breakfast. Flexible as one morning when we wanted a lay in they left some fruit and cereal outside our door so that we still had a breakfast to wake up to. We were able to come and go as we wanted which was great. Would recommend to friends and family.

The owners made my mother's stay very pleasant and would highly recommend the B&B

Very clean and the hosts were superb.

Hugh and Jenny were excellent hosts and looked after us impeccably during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are well decorated and furnished, very comfortable indeed. Breakfasts were also very good, all freshly prepared at your chosen time of the breakfast period. Your choice of ful english breakfast items was supplemented by toast and home made jam / marmalade, cereals and juices. Highly recommended for a short break for mature couples or single travellers

Friendly and welcoming, quiet yet central location, great bed for people with unhappy backs - firm and supportive but with a lovely mattress topper, just right. Absolutely spotless. Good breakfast.
