Service and Staff were excellent. Food was good. Public areas very relaxing with leather sofas. very clean. Would stay again.
Beds a bit small. Bar only had bottled beer and expensive.
Personal yet unobtrusive service. Best breakfast- delicious home made muesli.
Missed a rip roaring real fire!
the staff were very helpful ,good food, quiet atmosphere
Friendly staff and super breakfast Nothing was too much trouble. Just like on my last visit 28 years ago!
The wifi was a bit "iffy" but you didnt care because the place was lovely and the people were EXCELLENT! Piotr (our waiter) was wonderful!
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely room and comfortable beds. We slept really well.
Very welcoming and excellent staff. Lovely old house. Good location. Well cooked traditional food with nice sauces. Fresh produce. Great views if you walk up the hill behind the hotel.
A little bit of road noise in the morning and you can hear guests in other rooms moving about. Not a big problem and not excessive but best be aware. If you live in a flat you probably wouldn't notice.
Huge suite, elegant house full of history and what a view! Food superb, staff really friendly and make you feel at home. This is my new favourite hotel.
I loved staying at this hotel and can find nothing that didn't please me. I only wish I could have stayed longer.
Really a superb view. Effort and quality food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly people, comfy beds and clean.
wifi was ok in room and in lounges. Perhaps a bit stronger wifi signal would be useful

The hotel is loveley and well looked afterand a great venue with wonderful views Staff were very warming and helpful Lovely open fires and confortable and relaxing seating areas.
Wi Fi connection was internitent Menu was very reduced with only a number of dinner options
staff at breakfast were friendly but hovered waiting for us to leave so that they could clear up. Breakfast was fine however I would rather have had hash brown, black pudding, beans and or haggis, rather than half of a dried up roasted apple. I could have eaten 2 rashers and 2 sausages and would like to have a choice of how my eggs were cooked
Clean the carpets, they are so badly stained and the whole place is very old and shabby. It needs lots of TLC. I would strongly recommend you watch 4 in a bed and see the types of accommodation you get for your money. Change TV asap and get a new hairdryer. Bathrooms need a total revamp and you need to take close up pictures of everything as we thought we had turned up at the wrong hotel.
The staff were attentive and friendly, the rooms well appointed with lovely views across the loch and the food was outstanding.
We enjoyed the location, the comfort of the hotel and the food. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Menu was a bit restricted.
Food was good but overpriced. Staff very friendly. Gorgeous location.
Bed was very uncomfortable. Could do with a lick of paint and the stained carpet in the room was off putting.
Great feel of a Scottish country hotel without any snobbish overtones.
You could consider a new colour for the exterior
Super location Big room
Poor check-in Room was shabby, bathroom was horrible
The location was beautiful and QUIET! Lovely, traditional furnishings.
Friendly, helpful staff and the setting is beautiful.
Decor is a bit dated and wifi slightly erratic.
Beautiful peaceful location, very friendly welcoming owner and staff and excellent value for money. Perfect for a long weekend retreat.
Good breakfast, and good supper. Good service. Clean. Hospitable and comfortable.
Bathroom fan was very noisy, and didn't seem to work well.
A charming hotel with quality fixtures, fittings and decoration etc. Very relaxed atmosphere where 'more formal' and 'smart casual' attire existed with mutual respect. Great location and setting.
Whilst owner was very friendly some of the foreign staff came over a bit 'officious'
