Food was lovely and Nice location. We have stayed at the hotel before and had a lovely stay the first time but this time we paid extra to upgrade our room and our bed springs were broken and dipped in the middle. The worst nights sleep I've had in ages (and I have a 10 month old!). I quietly complained and the manager very reluctantly gave me £40 off my bill. Not impressed!

Really nice and clean hotel placed on the edge of the small town. Spacious rooms and nice new bathrooms, Food was fantastic and they also have a range of whiskies to try. Stuff is super friendly and helpful. As for me beds were too soft, but this is matter of taste and habits :)

Outside appearance and location very good. Breakfast was cold and sometime coming, portions from menu meagre. The room was very dusty, but the beds were comfortable and clean.

Rooms were lovely and all had a theme. The bathroom in our room was fantastic and the room was clean with a large comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Due to time of year I think the few staff were left to organise everything. Often the bar was left and we had to search for someone to get a drink while they were in the dining room.

Warm welcome, extremely helpful staff, good food, great facilities and a superb range of malts... Not the hotel's fault but the price of local taxis was ridiculous...

The actual hotel building is interesting...like a manor house in the countryside. The morning breakfast was fabulous. The town--Forres-- was charming. Our original destination was Findhorn and this hotel was characterized as being the closest thing to it--which it wasn'T. A cab was needed even from the train station. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. I think we expected more for the price. The staff was somewhat pretentious.
