The location and the restaurant were lovely, The Spa was nice. I was told by booking.com that the booking included the spa and breakfast. When I got there they had no details that the breakfast was included and that I would have to pay £15 pp also the spa and gym were additional at £25 for spa and £25 for gym use. I was under the impression that this would be included and felt quite deflated when told that this was not the case as I had paid £185 for one night, I could have booked another hotel just outside Shephards bush for half of this without the spa facilities. The email from Booking.com stated breakfast £8pp and the hotel manager took a copy for his records, they did not charge us for breakfast in the end. but when I explained my disappointment about the booking to the manager at the front desk he was dismissive and not very helpful until I showed him a copy of the email. Overall I found them a little stuck up!

Ideal location for Shepherds Bush/Holland Park Far too expensive, especially as spa, gym & car park are extra.

Very convenient for Westfield shopping centre and access to central London On the booking.com website I selected "Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Spa Access" - I clicked "Get Prices" and was taken to the next page showing a price of £130.80. There was no reference to additional charges for the spa but when we arrived, the hotel wanted a further £40. The staff were not very helpful - it took some time to deal with our complaint, it was clear that there was no reference to additional charges for the spa and they agreed it was misleading yet there was no apology, they refused to allow us use of the spa which effectively would have cost them nothing. The complaint should have been dealt with by somebody with the authority to take a decision and not have to keep going back to ask somebody else.

The staff was extremely helpful and polite, we were upgraded to a superior room (for free) with a large bed and a sofa, the room was quite spacious. There is a huge mall (Westfield) 3 minutes walk from the hotel with lots of restaurants, shops and underground station (central line). Inside the room there is safe box, hairdryer and ironing facilities. The bathroom is clean and spacious. Notting hill is a 20 minutes walk from the hotel, oxford street 7 minutes using the tube. Best value for money hotel in London. The hotel is lacking sound proof (we could hear kids running in the corridor and people talking from next door rooms). The breakfast is too expensive (17 pounds per person per day) so we did not have breakfast in the hotel, there are lots of nice places to eat in Westfield mall. Our credit card was charged with 150 pounds extra as security guarantee and told we are going to get it back 2 days after we leave the hotel and everything is in order in the room (nothing broken, missing etc.)

Location. Daytime staff helpful and polite. Night time not. Stayed twice for a total of 10 days. On three occassions I had to phone up to get our room serviced after returning to the hotel after 5.00 pm Upon arrival with my wife our "double deluxe" room had no luggage racks. When I asked at reception they said they had none (I checked in after 8 pm), but offered to upgrade me for an extra 50 pounds a night. I laughed and found a porter who brought two to my room. Internet continually dropping out and having to get a new password and then the confusion when I checked out because they re-charged me every time I was issued a new password.

Very cliche, however the staff were friendly the room and facilities were spotless. Very confortable and the location was perfect. We were disturbed several times in the morning by house keepers, at 7.00, 8.30 and 9.00, even though we were not due to leave untill 11. This was an irratant and therefore disrupted the rest of our day.

The staff was excellent. Sounds silly but we had difficulty getting the TV off the trailers and onto tv. Pressing the red button did not work for us.

The location is great next to westfield s c and the underground. Notting hill is also near NICE ROOM AND HOTEL DESIGN STAFF WAS OK There were two problems : a window which could not close tight so in the morning it got chilly in the room and the other problem was with the bathroom power assisted drainage system which would go off randomly during the night. Good thing I always travel with my ear plugs!!

They have an automated check out service which speeds up the process. Overall our stay was good value for money. We ate in the restaurant and although the food was excellent, the service was lacking. One member of staff was foreign and clearly didn't understand our request so just ignored it.

I really liked the room... Very large (for London), and very comfortable. The hotel is located very close to tube connections and an enormous shopping mall! Unlike some reviewers, it was very clear that the spa was not included in the price so that wasn't a problem. A hotel shouldn't pretend to be hip and modern if it charges for wifi.

Location. Felt the hotel was overpriced. 3 lights in our room did not work. The tv signal was very bad & the remote control did not work. There was a very large stain on the carpet & stains on the dressing table. The shower tiles were grubby. Very few toiletries provided. On arrival we were told our room was not ready, fair enough as we were a bit early (12.30) . However when I asked could the room be prepared for us, as we had a function to attend, I was told it would be ready in 40 to 50 mins. Although that meant we would be pushed for time, we said we would wait. When we went back to the desk after 50 mins, we were told the room would not be ready for a while, so we were left to get changed in the toilet very hurriedly. All that money paid to get changed in a toilet! Just wish they had told us that in the first place. Also I do feel that for the prices they are charging, they should include some sort of breakfast.

Friendly staff, excellent food, lovely rooms, we also got a kingsize bed on a double room booking Some of the bathroom fittings although not broken were not great: the shower tray didn't drain quickly enough. The sink tap leaked a little when running, some of the sealant was blackened. (Room 120)

The hotel is very well designed, rooms are always clean and comfortable. Location is surprisingly good although it is definitly in Sheppards Bush, not Kensington as a lot of the marketing material suggests. Staff are (as with many London boutiques) very keen on themselves with very little care to genuine customer service. Every extra costs a fortune and their prices are more Chelsea than Sheppards Bush!! Due to a number of high profile guests I think the hotel views itself as more up market than the service they deliver.

Nicely designed big rooms with big comfy bed. Walls seemed a little thin and we were above the entrance to the car park so it was a little noisy.

The staff were really helpful and very polite and friendly. The food was lovely. My room was clean and exactly what I'd asked for. I was on there on business for one night and really wished I could have stayed longer. I will definitely stay there again to take advantage of all the facilitites I didn't have time for this time around.

Most of all I like an average area of the standard room in K West, because they have almost twice bigger standard room than any other even better known hotels The staff wasn't attentive, we asked for a taxi and it didn't show up even within 30 minutes after we called for it...we came up to the staff few times to check when the taxi is supposed to come and every time they answered "within 5 minutes" which never happened...and the day we were supposed to check out, some of the staff knocked to our room at 10:30 to ask when we plan to check out...without proposing any help with the luggage, but just to check when are we leaving, I think that's not very welcoming

Not a lot to be honest except location! On arrival there was a high pressure pitch about upgrading! The first room smelt of sewage, blocked drains! We were then moved to another room where the television did not work, this was fixed but the heating / cooling did not work! Also if you wanted lights then it was all or nothing! Staff struggled with communicating in English! I felt the sales data was miss leading and thought the swimming pool was included, however on arrival discovered that was another £25 per person per night. Overall I felt ripped off, breakfast was poor and again any changes to standard fair were difficult to communicate! The vending machine was faulty! And £36 a night for parking was extortionate Would not recommend to any of my friends!! Overall was very very disapointed!!!! Never again!!

The stay at the hotel was good. The only problem is room card which I had to change every day:( Since we arrived with a group and our stay was prepaid by Carlson Wagonlit Ukraine we were very disappointed that first the 2 nights stay cost was again booked on our credit cards and every morning at the breakfast we were told that breakfast is not included in our tariff. I am a corporate person and we brought to London our 3 partners and it was not very polite to tell them to go and discuss everything at reception. Especially taking into consideration that people do not speak English . Our contact person was Jason Long

Stayed 2 nights drove down from east yorkshire, car park very well organised, not cheap to park but appreciate cost for on street parking in the area. Room was very well serviced and the bed was very comfortable and nice linen, bathroom was good possibly little more lighting required in the bathroom for shaving make up etc. Did not eat at all in the hotel so cannot comment on that. We would certainly book again and will recommend to others.

We had the deal as an offer of the day on Booking.com. The location of the hotel is excellent. Only 3 or 4 mins walk to Shepherds Bush Tube station and a massive Westfield Shopping Centre about 10 mins walk. Location was quiet. Really great design features in hotel.
