La Baia Hotel  

Elaine the owner and her staff were very welcoming and polite, Room was excellent, super kingsize bed in room 9. Breakfast choice excellent and tasty.

The friendly welcome and service from Elaine and her staff. The comfortable sea-facing room with a large bay window.

The duvet was too narrow for the double bed.

Friendly staff, suberb breakfast.

Size of room, and a small amount of noise from neighbouring room.

We were made to feel very welcome, and were so well looked after. Definitely would stay there again.

Shower, couldn't get it hot despite moving dial past red button to 9 it was luke warm at best.

Lovely family run hotel, friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Elaine gave us a voucher to save £10 on sea life centre and told us how to find a great Italian restaurant gianni'S. Would definitely stay there again.

I thought the room (5) was a bit shabby - in particular the bedspread and the kettle. The dressing table was not 100% clean.

Great B&B. Very welcoming, clean, comfortable in a superb location. We had the sea view room with a big bay window overlooking the castle and bay. Will definately return here next time we go to Scarborough.

The weather!

The hotel was very good. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. The rooms were clean, although not too large and the ensuite included a shower, no bath. The owners were very welcoming and eager to ensure the stay was enjoyed. Happy to reserve tables for dinner and taxis. Overall it was excellent, and no "buts" to the statement

Everything was spot on. Elaine and Tony were such fantastic hosts, breakfast was superb, coffee great too! Fantastic views over the coast.

walls to thin , woke up during the night with nxt door snooring. an could hear them talking in the morning , an 2 b fair they were quiet people.

I only stayed one night but the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and warm in a good position, overlooking the sea. The breakfast was excellent.

I like old type seaside hotels but they are not for premier inn type customers.

tony and elaine are fantastic hosts and cant do enough for you. The meals were fantastic ,the seaview was stunning. will definately be going again.

Everything is excellent, the owners are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are very clean with all amenities and the decor is fresh throughout. The breakfast is cooked to perfection and there is plenty of choice. Some rooms have a wonderful view of the sea and castle and the location is perfect.
