For me the bed was too soft, I prefer a firmer mattress
Other customers smoked outside my window late at night, and I am a non smoker, woke up at night to be able to "smell" cigarettes
Heating on, so room was hot. Windows were open.
At breakfast I was taken to a table where I was expected to sit, it was in a corner and I preferred one nearer the windows. I was re-seated after a bit of fuss, and I was made to wait.
I felt uncomfortable about this, and when it happened again the next morning, I checked out.
Surely in this day and age, we can chose where we sit? Why do, in particular single women travelling on their own, put in dark corners?
Easy to book, had vacancies in a busy tourist week.
Pretty location, near areas I knew as a child
Very clean room and shower/bath room
