My wife and I along with other members of our family were attending our younger son's wedding. We all agreed that we had made the right choice as we had a perfect day in all respects. The staff were so helpful in respect of all of our requirements and treated us with utmost courtesy. The facilities were spacious and the accomodation was without fault. The food was excellent with a wide choice of menu available with breakfast served in a homely atmosphere.A straw poll from all the wedding guests indicated their complete satisfaction with their stay at the La Mon an confirmed it as of the best hotels in Northern Ireland.

The staff were very accomodating and the food was first class. The rooms were very large and comfortable although a little sparsely furnished but we had been given the benefit of an up grade to a delux room. Leisure club facilities are very good.

Our bed cover had stains on it, there were massive dirty stains on the roof , the receptionist was rude, for £90 per night for a premier room overlooking county down we seen a tennis court, very dissapointed and wont be returning.

Attending a wedding. Excellent day. Most staff were very efficient and attentive. Room lovely. One particular member of staff was very rude and unhelpful. He was the supervisor in the bar area I believe, maybe called Paul. This was noticed by many guests and cast a shadow on an otherwise excellent day.

I thought the public areas of the hotel were well presented, attractive and clean. The function room was well laid out & nicely decorated/presented. Food at function was very good, bar service on the floor pretty slow. Compared to the public areas of the hotel, I found the bedroom disappointing, worn around the edges... Bath side was grubby & had permanent damp stains, net curtain on window dirty, glass in bathroom to clean teeth dirty, had encrusted toothpaste stains from previous guests! Bathroom could do with return to achieve 4 star rating. The bed was small for a double and mattress really soft quite uncomfortable, most 4 star hotels have large, solid beds. Hope this feedback is of help

My husband and I have stayed many times at La Mon and keep going back for it's value for money, location, friendly staff and clean rooms. I would recommend, and have done on several occasions, La Mon for all events.

Everything was spot on from the price to the location. A real quality hotel at a sensible price and doesn't look down on smokers. I shall be stopping here every time I visit Northern Ireland. Room service is a tad expensve

It was excellent value for money and a relaxed restful place to stay. Quite a long drive/taxi into Belfast, especially at key times of the day (am and pm rush hour).

Good staff, large pleasant rooms, gym The sheets on my bed, though appearing clean, smelled as if they had been washed in a dirty washing machine (or with a pair of teenager's socks!)

Well staffed, carried out their duties well... We attended a wedding there. Bedrooms had everything you needed. Plenty of towels, coffee making equipment, hairdryer, iron etc... It wouldn't have been my idea of a 4 star, more 3 star. Meal was ok, my drinking glass was grubby, bar closed by 1am. Not enough seating for everyone.

Enterior was lovely. We attended a wedding and everything was excellent loads of places to sit and relax, plenty of access to little bars, food very good. Plenty of staff. Great weekend, would have liked moore seating outside Just one or two of the dining room staff seemed to be under pressure and not the friendliest but overallthey were good. Asthe weather was good there was a big demand on the outside seating a bit more seating would be good. Seemed to be a drain blocked and the smell wasnt good!

We arrived quite late in the evening but the staff were very attentive and made sure we had a snack before we retired - nice touch I never did find out if there was a Wi Fi facility - if it is available it is not obvious - I could not see anything in the welcome pack. 2 wedding receptions were on the go which was not a problem but boisterous guests were very obvious at the reception entrance (presumably for a cigarette break) - I appreciate the difficulty here but a more discrete area should be offered
