Good location, easy to get to the centre of Chester. Comfortable beds. A very helpful and congenial host.

Instant coffee for breakfast. I would make a really big difference to the day to have real coffee for breakfast. We would recommend a caffetiere for each customer!

Close to the city centre and was quiet enough. Clean and tidy. John was brilliant and the breakfast was very tasty with a choice of cereals as well as cooked breakfast. I will definitely stay there if I'm in Chester again. There was also limited parking but it was a squeeze.

Nothing except the messing about parking.

I needed a place to stay in Chester for a night out with friends. Had everything I needed, short work into the town centre and very friendly welcoming. Parking around the back was easily accessed and breakfast was excellent, even though I was up late they had saved some for me, great value for money.

The proximity of Chester center. The kindless of staff. The quality of breakfast

The bedrooms and the bedding are old. The bedrooms and the bathroom are very dirty.

Very central, free car park although very small, brilliant customer service from the guy who runs it.

A little noisy outside due to redevelopment close by and very close to a main road but sleep not really disturbed so not that much of a problem.

The room was good sized, there was off and on street parking, the owner was very helpful with directions to parking in Chester. The breakfasts were excellent.

    Everything was great.

As an intro to Chester, made everything else look fantastic.

Unclean, half thecupboard full of other clothes and rubbish, clothes put on shelves covered in dust. Dried toothpaste on basin area, mould all around shower base, en suite(?) accesable to kitchen. Not at all sure how it has the rating has given this b&b.

Smell of breakfast cooking coming into the room so early. Manager and owner talking under the window whilst making above. View overlooking a building site.

Brilliant location, 10 min walk to city centre and 15 mins walk to Chester racecourse and only 10 minute drive to Chester Zoo. Was great to get to the city walls too which is great for a stroll to see the sights. The owners are very friendly and John really looked after us and cooked a great breakfast.

Unfortunately our room was next to front door so could hear everyone coming in and out and slamming the door at night and ealy in the morning. This is no fault of the owners, just inconsiderate other guests!!
