Lacet House is situated in the heart of Ambleside, within the scenic Lake District National Park. The town is surrounded by mountains and rolling fells, with the head of Windermere Lake less than 1 mile away. The rooms at the property each feature a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities, along with private or en suite bathroom facilities. Many boast impressive views of the countryside. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. In the mornings, the Lacet House serves cooked breakfast, featuring spicy Cumberland sausage. A lovely bed and breakfast in the in the centre of pretty Ambleside, right in the heart of the stumming Lake District. The owners were friendly and helpful, the b&b was well furnished and immaculate. The breakfast good and the on site car parking essensial

Such a lovely place to stay where the owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. They went above and beyond expectations! Great location right in the middle of Ambleside. Modern well presented rooms with very comfortable beds! We had a great choice of breakfasts and they even have parking spaces! ( rare in Ambleside). We will definitely be returning for another visit! Thanks for a lovely time. Monica, Simon & kids Nothing!

The bed was lovely quite grand and comfy. Breakfast was good and the serve to room option was fantastic. Hosts very nice and friendly The sky light blind right above the bed was ill fitting and let in too much light. The tv was too small and far from the bed and the radiator in the bathroom wasn't on and so very cold. No dressing table for the ladies too!

We werden warm ontvangen , de kamer was ruim ,gezellig en heel schoon !! Onze badkamer en toilet lag een verdieping lager maar dat was geen probleem :-) Een aanrader , het is rustig gelegen op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum van Ambleside :-)

Excellent breakfast, very friendly hosts and central position convenient for all facilities in Ambleside The ensuite shower room was quite small in our room although others were larger but this is only a minor criticism. We would have no hesitation staying there again.

Nice location in the centre of Ambleside, in easy reach of everything but still quiet. Very comfortable rooms and accommodating hosts. Nice to have parking. Breakfast starts at 8-30 and some days we would have preferred to get out a bit earlier.
