Lacet House is situated in the heart of Ambleside, within the scenic Lake District National Park. The town is surrounded by mountains and rolling fells, with the head of Windermere Lake less than 1 mile away. The rooms at the property each feature a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities, along with private or en suite bathroom facilities. Many boast impressive views of the countryside. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. In the morning, guests can select from a full English breakfast or a lighter option from the extensive pre-ordered menu. Diets can be catered for upon request. The dining room is light and airy with stunning views of the fells. Ambleside offers numerous pubs, restaurants, and shops, within a 5-minute stroll of the house. Shaun and Louise offer you a warm welcome to Lacet House Bed and Breakfast, situated in beautiful Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Whether you are visiting for an overnight stay, short break or longer holiday we aim to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable in one of our 5 comfortable, individually styled double or twin rooms. We offer free parking to our guests in our on site car park. We are minutes away from the town centre where there are numerous excellent restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The bus stop is less than 10 metres up the road allowing travel around the Lake District without needing to drive.

Lacet House is a local slate built building located in the heart of Ambleside, within the scenic Lake District National Park. The town is surrounded by mountains and rolling fells, with the head of Windermere Lake less than 1 mile away. There is a choice of 5 individually styled double or family rooms, each with en suite or private shower room facilities. Each room has a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, bath robes and a generous complimentary refreshment tray, Most boast impressive views of the fells. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. In the morning, guests can select from a full breakfast or a lighter option including Vegetarian & Vegan options from the pre-ordered menu. Diets can be catered for upon request. The breakfast room is light and airy with stunning views of the fells. Ambleside offers numerous pubs, restaurants, and shops, within a 5-minute walk from the house. There are numerous walks for all abilities straight from the door, from the high fells to the beautiful waters of Rydal& Grasmere. Lacet House also offers free on-site private parking.

Lacet House is in beautiful Ambleside in the heart of the lake district. It is a few minutes walk from the town centre where there are numerous excellent restaurants and cafes, traditional pubs, shops art galleries, cinemas, a climbing wall and a museum. We are aout 4 miles from Grasmere and Windermere and the bus stop is about 50 yards up the road giving easy access to nearby villages. Lake Windermere is less than a mile away and there are many spectacular walks starting from Ambleside.
