Laggan Hotel

The location was fantastic, to wake up in the morning to beautiful views and see hares was outstanding. Our room was fabulous, the bedroom was in one of the turrets you see in the picture and had a lovely dressing table/lounge area as well. Staff were very friendly and happy to help out wherever possible.

There was a lot of flies (bluebottles) in our room on the first night. It was very cold so were easily killed, but after about 20 it got annoying!!! They seemed to be attracted to the black slate on the outside and find their way inside. However after the first night, there was never more than one or two. Breakfast times were quiet early, but at least it made sure we were up to enjoy a full day in the area, but breakfast was always a bit on the dry side. Ok but not amazing. I think the staff would have been accommodating if we had specifically asked for breakfast at a later time.

The Location of the hotel is very pitoresque and the view out of our window was stunning.

The not really anything around the hotel (restaurants, bars etc.)

great team running it makes a welcome change having to wait for your food to be cooked to order

Great views from bedrooms. Eating areas are spacious and there is a large patio/garden.

The food quality is a let down. Portions were small too.

Location was good, on main road to Fort William.

Wasn't a particularly luxury feel, not somewhere I would want to spend on a special occasion but perfectly adequate for a stopover.

Although the room were clean walking in the room created sqeek, cracking sounds that were very irritating. (One could even hear the nabours walk arround in their room). No internet in the rooms. Only in the lounge and bar area.

The location is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good and the rooms are comfortable and clean. A great place to stay in the highlands.

Loved our short stay at Laggan hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet, tidy and cosy location for a short or longer break. The staff is very nice, the rooms have a wonderful view and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing.

Our party enjoyed the hotel its surroundings and the friendly staff and people we met there. We enjoyed the food and enjoyed the comfort of our rooms.

Accueil sympathique. Belle vue sur la campagne. Pensez à préciser dans votre réservation : chambre donnant sur la vallée et/ou dans la tour de l'hotel.

Attention aux horaires du restaurant. Fermeture à 20h15 Mobilier un peu vieillissant

Vackert läge. Genuin äldre byggnad. Härlig utsikt från frukostrummet. Frukostbuffé. Bar/lounge såg mysig ut med öppen spis och utsikt över dalen.

Personalen i receptionen var fåordig. Frukostpersonalen kunde inte engelska och var inte infödingar. Badrummet var inte helt rent. Vattentrycket i duschen var löjligt dåligt. Sängarna var rangliga och knakiga. Perfekt för bara övernattning, men vid längre vistelse skulle vi retat oss på dessa småsaker som de så enkelt kunnat åtgärda och därmed varit ett av högländernas charmigaste lilla hotell!

We stayed in No.16 the windows were so full of condensation We couldn't see out of the to the lovely mountain views. There was Tape holding carpet together. We couldt sit on sofa so uncomfortable. There was No levers on windows. The Back of wardrobe hanging out. There was a damp smell in the bathroom and poor water flow. There was hair hanging off shower head and hair in the sink, there was also no hooks to hang our towels on?. No phone to communicate with reception and the staff were not over friendly. The ceilings had big long cobwebs hanging off it. Lastly the squeaking floor In our room and outside was a nightmare. We were right by door in the corridor and were kept up by passers by banging door and creaking.

Très bien.

On peut dîner jusqu'à 19h45, c'est trop juste, surtout en été.

De vriendelijke bediening en de maaltijden. Schitterende locatie, uitzicht!

Pick-up available for the brave souls walking the East Highland Way (call the hotel when you're at the Pattack Falls, as the gate "Feagour" is quite easy to miss).

It's a tad pricy.
