Dave & Manny very friendly and welcoming. Lovely big room with sofa and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Free parking in local car park.

the guest house was right in the heart of everthing the rooms were excellant very big and clean the breakfast was well cooked and a good choice of food . david an manny ran the guest house were very easy to talk to an very helpfull if needed .also the parking permit was a bonus as you could park for free all over the lake district .

Our host Dave was friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast were fantastic and the service excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Dave & Manny

I think 'superb' is a bit misleading- good value for money and great service, but the accommodation is not 'superb' in my opinion.

Loved the location. The guys that run it couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Nice restaurants really close by. Short stroll to the lake.lovely room and great breakfast.

Car park was free, thanks to a pass given by the owners, but a few minutes walk if you have lots of luggage. Slight smell of cigarette smoke on the bedding, but being an ex smoker I'm ultra sensitive to it!

Dave and Manny, the owner of Guesthouse is so kind. They have a service mindset. Though we arrived their place lately, they try to service us kindly. And for the car park service, they has a parking badge that helps us in saving my money.

Very friendly owners. Try hard to ensure you are comfortable. Lots of space in the room, including lounge and arm chairs.

Beds could do with new mattresses - otherwise it is great budget accommodation.

Location location location!! Excellent, hosts are fantastic, breakfast divine :) it's like a home away from home, really comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to go back.

Delightful B&B. Homely, very clean and well kept, right on main high street near shops, with a variety of bars/cafes/coffee shops and restaurants to choose from for lunches and evening meals. Location couldn't have been better with everything within easy walking distance. Our room was at the front of the house, and we were surprised how large it was and how comfortable. Really welcoming proprietors; nothing was too much trouble for Dave and Manny. Breakfasts good with locally sourced food. All in all a very good Spring break. Excellent value for money. We would definitely return to Lakeview, hopefully when the weather is better! Set off to walk around Grizedale Forest but had to turn back because of the heavy snowfall!

The only slight drawback was having to park the car a few minutes walk away. However, there was a free parking permit, and the car park was just down the road. This wouldn't stop us recommending Lakeview to anyone.

I found the lake view room we payed for was excellent . Very big and clean. Dave was very polite and welcoming. Would come back again in the summer with my wife.

As a family I would only come back for 2 days at most. I found out and was told also. not much to do for kids

A very central location in the heart of Bowness on Windermere.The hosts David and Manny were eager to help in any way possible and were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are exceptionally large compared to many we have stayed in, inc. B&bs and more expensive hotels,

Curtains need changing to block out the light more.

The host is very friendly and helpful. The location is good for those plan to stay in Windermere. We got a family room, is very large and clean. From the bath room, we can see the lake. Highly recommended.

We loved Lake View Guest House. Our room was lovely with a great view of the lake, it was comfortable and we had the best two nights sleep ever. Dave and Manny who run the guest house were lovely perfect hosts who cooked a great breakfast and made us feel really welcome. We will definetely be going back to stay there again.
