We were very disappointed in the hotel it took 1hour to sort out the rooms,my son's was given to someone else. The next morning breakfast was a disaster ,we had to ask for every item from fruit juice ,bread, butter, eggs, beans, and the list goes on,we did'nt all sit down to eat together it took 1and half hours to have breakfast. We complained to the manager but had no joy. Brought back happy memories of when I lived in the area during the 1980'S. Quite a few changes since those days but it was good to revisit if only for one night. Not really a criticism but as we did not wish to take a full English breakfast we were limited to the choice of rolls/toast with only sweet condiments. As my husband is diabetic we would have liked to seen perhaps some slices of ham/cheese offered. Our mistake maybe not to have asked. However the young lady who served us was very pleasant.

Hotel was good value for money and clean. Reception staff extremely helpful and pleasant. I didn't appreciate the unknown 'fluff' found in my bed!

Very good staff; there had been a problem with our booking and the young women on reception dealt with the situation in a professional manner and made us feel welcome. Rather disappointed in the bar; gloomy atmosphere, unnecessary tv blaring out and no coffee, due to broken machine, which the barman didn't seem much bothered about.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices available. The food at our neices wedding reception which was held at the hotel was really lovely with good service from the staff. Basic room but spotlessly clean and comfortable with nice power shower. Late bar available for a late drink in comfortable surroundings. Rung hotel week before arriving found that hotel had no knowledge of our booking which was made in April! Took many calls to sort out which was frustrating so best to ring before arriving to check your reservation. When booking in at reception they charged my credit card with a large supplement without my knowledge which my partner noticed after transation. Receptionist said this was an extra amount in case you used facilities in the hotel. This was totaly out of order and for anyone using this hotel should be aware of this when booking in. The next morning when checking out the hotel staff tried to charge us with a dinner/bar tab which we had not had. Again any one staying here should keep check of meals and drink charged to their room for mistakes. Tatty flooring in reception area which could be a trip hazzard and no disabled toilet facilties near to bar or restaurant areas. TV in room only had limited channels.

The fact that when I rang up to book direct I was told to ring back later as the receptionist was to busy to book anything. Hence why I had to do it online

Reception had no trace of our booking which was made 02/02/11 and after speaking to Duty Manager Pedro, this happens regularly! Embarrasing check-in which took about 20 minutes for us to eventually get a room. Lady on reception was unhelpful and came across a little abrupt. Ordered meals and this took about 45 minutes to arrive. Some were hot, most were cool and the steak was very tough. Also had to go to bar to get own cutlery and then ask the guy who brought the food for more. Then could not find a single member of staff to organise the bill! The hotel was clearly overbooked and had too many functions going on. Not what i'd expect with a Radisson name attached to it, very disappointed.

Staff were very friendly, polite, attentive and efficient. Public Rooms were very clean and well presented. Bedroom and Bathroom was small but neat, clean and tidy, and fairley modern. The Restaurant and Staff were top class, but, the Menu and Food were diabolical in fact they managed to make the `Harvester Chain` look like a Michelin Star holder. How a Hotel that purports to be a `Three Star` can present and serve such awful is beyond me.

Conveniently located near the m25, yet far enough away to be in a quiet location. Rooms were basic, but clean. Bed very comfortable but no extra pillows or towels in the room. Free parking, pay for the wi-fi and a very basic tv system. Walls seemed paper thin, you can hear everything. Would recommend an upper floor to eliminate at least some of the noise.

It was the first time my wife & I had stayed at this Hotel, for 3 nights, as a pre-75th birthday treat for myself. We were collected daily by various relatives to take us out & about. The staff were always helpful, courteous & kind to ourselves & our visitors. The self-service breakfast choices was excellent. We hope to be able to make a return visit again sometime next year - should we decide to return to Grays, we would certainly consider staying at the Park Inn Thurrock if we do. I realise that we chose to book a standard room, rather than a more expensive one. Although the original main building was a lovely oldie- worldie place [with bags of atmosphere], like many 'modernised' extensions our room could be referred to as minimalist - all storage space was open plan ie no closed-in cupboards or wardrobe & the seating wasn't meant for comfort use. Although clean, with comfortable bed, we felt it was meant for sleeping in only, rather than as a private lounge at the end of the day for a couple of elderly folk. However, we did specifically request a very quiet corner/end room, with shower & that's what we got - brilliant!

This was a lovely main hotel, rooms were functional and very clean, staff were helpful and most importantly the bed was comfortable The hotel had 52 children staying there which they didn't inform me of! The children were running wild at 6.30am but I do appreciate there was little the staff could do

A convenient location for a weekend of shopping at Bluewater and Lakeside. The rooms were very small. The double beds were very small. I think the staff could have been more welcoming. A few smiles wouldn't go amiss.

Hotel had a welcoming bar Room was too small, bed was not a full size double, no soundproofing between rooms, shower poor, wash basin too small. Outlook in hotel courtyard was of a building in poor repair, generally tatty appearance. Hotel reception and restaurant is need of modernisation. Breakfast was cold.
