We have enjoyed our time share at Lakeview for almost 20 years. Booking another lodge enabled the whole extended family to be away together. Safety on site for very small children is excellent.
Problem with grout on the upper bathroom floor. Trying to solve this made the floor dangerously slippery. (We were then given a mat to cover most of it.) Restaurant meals were too expensive for a large family.
very clean and quiet at night
Not enough for teenagers to do on site Although everywhere was very clean the sofa and carpets needed a good clean. Wooden floors would probably be more practical.
Very happy well equipped kitchen comfy beds and lovely bath rooms. Lodges well spaced out very quiet even though summer school holidays.
Lodge and it's facilities Clubhouse, nice atmosphere, good and varied seating areas.
Worn out and hard mattresses. Showers were very hot and unable to control.
The location was lovely with good onsite facilities. The children enjoyed being able to play tennis and go swimming. We ate in the restaurant one evening, the food was tasty and enjoyable . Enjoyed the whole holiday .
On arrival to the complex we were greeted by a member of maintenance staff coming out of reception swearing , not a great first impression ! However all other staff were friendly and helpful. Our lodge was clean and well equipped but did have some general signs of wear and tear . The bath panel had a large split along the top edge which once reported was quickly patched up. The site is in the process of being revamped and could be spectacular once completed.
Lodges were well furnished and clean.
Were told we could bike around the site on the jogging path but it was only really suitable for mountain bikes
The gym - needs refurbishing
Fully equipped kitchen was very useful to have with young children The children also enjoyed using the pool as it wasn't warm enough to swim in the sea
Everything in our chalet looked a bit worn out - this wasn't a big problem as we had young children with us so I wasn't worried about them destroying anything
-The lodges had enough space around not too feel crammed in and so felt very relaxed - inside the lodge was plenty big enough for 4 adults - good layout - Was a good base to travel to Eden Project, Newquay, St Ives. Hayle etc - Easy enough to get to from the West Midlands - Staff really friendly - felt very welcomed when arrives - Good facilities with the swimming pool, nice lakes to walk around - all mod cons in the lodge so could bring food back and have a nice meal and have dishwasher so no washing up - price was very reasonable given some of the prices I was looking at for apartments Would totally recommend to other people and would go back there.
Floor boards rather creaky but apart from that no other issues
Swimming pool, central location, comfort of accommodation.
Bit of noise from wedding on Saturday night.
Friendly staff, lovely clean lodge, nice grounds, restaurant served good food but limited menu.
Some areas do look a bit dated.
Accommodation great and fantastic due to two children under three self catering was a must Clean spacious quiet
Master bedroom mattress not comfortable Children's play area broken should be taken down Restaurant food overpriced
Setting was excellent. Location was extremely useful for our tour of Cornwall with the Eden Project and Newquay both in easy reach. Cabin was very comfortable.
Cabin did have some maintenance issues, but not enough to detract from our holiday.
Location and facilities were good. Staff very helpful.
Beautiful spacious lodge, kitchen fully stocked with equipment, Bar staff very friendly Could not fault the food, very good.
The all singing all dancing main shower, scalding water took absolutely ages to drain so I never got a chance to enjoy it, the shower in the big double bedroom was just as bad, plus cracked floor tiles. Hot tub needs some maintaince, and it would have been nice if the fag butts & bottle tops were removed from the decking, it wasn't the best job to do on arrival, but standing on an upturned metal bottle top going in out of the tub would have been worse?
Noise from teenagers
Excellent lodge really peaceful location yet everything nearby. Very comfortable.
A lot of water problems burning hot water in 2 showers solved after 24 hours. Problem with hot tub jets, and then a problem with the water supply cloudy etc so we had to buy bottled water. However we enjoyed ourselves so much we will return.
The friendliness of the staff. The cleanleness of the lodge ( I believe No 39 was a time share recently renovated) The large upstairs bathroom and the quietness of the whole area.
The cost was a little high compared with others. Although the lodge could have been used by a family.
Fabulous accommodation , wonderful location
Shape of the houses and bathrooms spot lights dog friendly
Mattresses, curtains not dark enough, micro oven not good. Needs real oven, pillows very flat, and a big problem no Wi-fi
We all enjoyed are holiday. Staff where helpful. Place was peaceful.comfortable. very clean. There was plenty to do there. Swimming golf. Tennis. Etc. Value for money was excellent. I would and I have recommended it to family and friends and I hope to return in the future. 10 out of 10.
There was nothing to complain about.
TV not work whole 3 nights children very unhappy about, inform reception not response
Day 1 Nobody seemed to have a clue or was bothered about what was going on and all just going about own thing and not worried about clients requirements when things needed dealing with. Rabbits in headlights comes to mind. Lodge 3 assigned Stained carpets Dirty / Stained mattress covers on 3 of the 3 beds Surrounding area to hut like a bog and smell of damp and stagnant water in hut- son couldn't play outside due to this (very frustrated 6 year old) Issue with boiler and no button to set heating Noisy plumbing throughout, not good when have kids asleep in evenings Very expensive and in my opinion not worth the money you're charged, u definitely don't get the level ud expect for what u pay Glass Shelves in master bathroom wobbling off of wall When I told front desk on the first evening of water smell and damp issue and ask whether we could move huts I was told internet was down so couldn't check if possible to move until next morning (The feeling I got from the look on the face of the young lady on the desk was of someone that knew of the issues around ours / some of the huts and that this wasn't the first time she'd heard these complaints) Aggro all around not needed after a long trip and long day getting here... Next morning... Grass strimmer noise outside window from 07:30 just to wake us up (woke our son up in a very grouchy mood that lasted most of the day so a big thanks for that) and put everyone in a bad mood Internet was still down in morning...Heard that it had been for 3 days. Shower door wouldn't slide Towel warmer dirty in master bathroom and ud never put a towel on it Day 2 Moved to lodge 36... Visited by staff in lodge 3 before leaving in morning for the day out and told balcony broken in lodge 36. Balcony was broken when we got there...
We like the location, which allows us to travel to all around in Cornwall within a hour. The accommodation was clean, quiet and comfortable.
It is slightly far away from local shops and facilities, which is not very convenient for shopping and meals.
Leisure facilities inc golf course and the lodge was fabulous
