Staff, food and location.

Location, staff friendliness, nice room, good food and drink
Either an extractor fan or something sounding like one going all night
We were arriving late, and they had sandwiches ready for us. Spacious clean room, good bathroom, friendly helpful staff, easy to find, quiet, lots of parking room, excellent breakfast.
really friendly staff, great food at night and breakfast and a comfy bed what more can you ask for.
Location good, not too near road. Shower excellent, bed very comfortable, great breakfast - free!
Vegetarian paella was little more than a packet mix of rice and tomato, with a pepper - too hungry to complain, but am sure they could do better.
Food was good, especially breakfast. Staff nice
Room quite cold, poorly insulated. No heating. Shower head flex broken and sink cracked, soap dispenser on wall also loose.
Location, food and service
Just outside Abergavenny but right on the edge of the National park and perfect for touring the area. Great family hotel with good faculties for children. Really lovely staff.
A bit tired and could do with a bit of TLC.
mine host and staff are excellent always available to help.very polite, food is excellent served piping hot and quickly served from ordering to arriving at table.Rooms are comfortable ,clean and have all facilities expected in a 4 star hotel.I repeatedly stay at the Lamb & Flag as it is friendly and far superior to other Inns or Hotels in the area.
I have yet to find anything despite being a regular customer.
The Inn is located just outside Abergavenny and is surrounded by meadows and commons, making the place quiet and beautiful and ideal for a dinner or a beer under the porch. Rooms are clean and nice, nothing spectacular but for this price you really can't ask for more. Staff was helpful and nice, and the food was also very good in quantity and quality. We had BBQ ribs: they were delicious and *huge*!
The bed linen was frayed. The room was in desperate need of a tidy up. Shower drain keep washing back up. The room was so small no room for bags. The food was tasteless and poorly presented. Our cup of tea at breakfast was cold and when we mentioned we got another cold pot.
the staff was very helpful ,also hotel had a nice relaxing atmosphere.l
one small problem the wash hand basin tap in bedroom seem to be in way when washing face , but then most probably it was my fault being clumsy
Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast, cooked to perfection and served to your able. (no wandering round fetching things for yourself). Amazing value.
Restaurant gets very busy die to its reputation so service can be slow. However the ood's worth waiting for and the staff work really hard.
Perfect views. Great location. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.
Staff and owners very friendly and helpful, room comfortable and clean. Amazing food, would go back just for the chicken pie!
Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast.
Staff were extremely helpful
Good restaurant, easy to find, plenty of parking, breakfast was included (booking.com was unclear suggesting it was extra) all the freeview channels!
Ease of finding the place as breaking our journey. The spacious property. Reverend James Beer.
Very hot despite fan in the room.
The welsh breakfast was the best I have ever had. Very friendly staff and good attention to small details
