The Inn provided the amenities we required. The staff from top to bottom were excellend. Breakfast served at the table was outstanding. We would definitely stay there again. We found Room 4 somewhat dark and the bathroom particularly so. There were insufficient lights in the proximity of mirrors to allow doing your make up. A unit with drawers would have been useful particularly if staying for more than one night.

The Lamb & Flag is a welcoming, cosy Inn. The room we stayed was spotlessly clean and with all the usual mod cons. The shower was excellent (often a problem in many hotels) and the beds very comfortable. Food is typical 'pub grub' and is a fair price and breakfast was particularly good. All the staff were very friendly. Outside there is plenty of terrace seating and a nice play area for children. With views of Sugar Loaf mountain the surroundings are idyllic and only a short drive from the town centre it's in a great spot. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and would definitely stay again.

the room was more than adequate, tho' a little small. clean and comfortable (except for the pillows). the food was good, not expensive, fairly priced. staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive or familiar. very well positioned, very nice area the pillows were uncomfortable. Tip: John Lewis (there's one in Bristol) have an excellent range of comfortable pillows.

Comfort, decor of my single room, convenience of location for my needs, friendliness of the staff, warmth of room on an exceptionally cold night and an excellent breakfast with good coffee. The only down side was that the fruit juice at breakfast was not of the same quality asthe rest of my stay.

We arrived early as we had to be at a wedding and needed to drop our luggage off. We had a very friendly welcome. The room was of a good standard and the shower was brilliant. In fact the accommodation felt bran new! Breakfast was very filling [Full English] and could not be faulted. Would certainly recommend this place. There was nothing to be negative about. In fact we will go again to visit the area because we were so impressed with the Lamb and Flag!

Friendly staff, good breakfast, good location near Sugar Loaf mountain. Room well serviced. I had single occupancy of a double room so was fine but two might find the room just a little on the small side to be truly comfortable.

We were made very welcome for the whole time of our visit at this hotel. All staff were plesant and very helpfull. The purpose of our visit was a family wedding and as there was private access to the rooms direct from the extensive car park this allowed our late return to be convenient to all. We would have no hesitation in recommending this venue to others.
