Lovely staff, great food and Paul's real ale really is excellent. Hotel is well situated with a superb terrace and parking is easy. The stairs are little steep on one side so best get a room where the stairs are easier, if this is a factor for you.

It had a warm and friendly atmosphere especially the welcoming and friendly staff. Nice rural location, handily placed for easy access to the rest of the Cotswolds. Nice hearty breakfast and food served in both the pub and restaurant was delicious with a bit of a gourmet twist! Whilst the Spice Room was very comfy and clean it was situated directly over the bar, which when busy, was very noisy.

Food was superb, hotel dog friendly and we were made most welcome. We were moved to another room which meant it was much quieter. Bed was a little too firm

This was a real "find" of a hotel - welcoming, comfortable and with delicious food on the menu. Fantastic breakfast and "themed" comfortable bedrooms. Roaring log fires in the evening and a good selection of wines, beers and whiskies. Spice route room is directly above the bar, so can be a little noisy during the evening. This wasn't a problem for us as we spent the evening in the bar enjoying the good food, beer, ambiance and log fire! Room is nice and quiet at night and very comfortable too.
