Very quiet and clean. Free breakfast and snacks. Lovely staff, the 5-min-walk distance to metro
Wi-fi can be stabler .
In one word this is Excellent accommodation
The location was accessible via hammersmith and goldhawk road which made it convenient. The area was quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious although the second room was small.
The handles on the doors of the cupboards kept coming off, some utensils in the kitchen were dirty and the pots were not non stick, so food burnt and stuck to the bottom. The floor mats in the bathroom were not changed as the cleaning was just once a week. There is a need to clean more regularly and towels and sheets changed.
Good location & reasonably well presented.Quite good value for money.
No great dislikes but overall did not quite have the "wow " factor.
- Convenience of the tube station - Very short commute into central London for sightseeing - Reasonably comfortable - Garden facility - Bathroom was clean - Kitchen well equipped
- Rooms much smaller than anticipated - In the second room, door could not be closed and no space really - Kitchen located below ground - The different levels of the accommodation could be an issue for older travellers
3 spacy rooms 5 min walk from the underground station dish washer and washing machine
bumpy sofa's, beds rather hard. the hot water system is not well insulated, so the appartment was quite warm. Nice in the winter, not so nice in the summer.
Clean, wide, well furnished and well located two floors apartment with a nice terrasse at the top of a small building on Hammersmith Grove. Just a few minutes walk away from the Hammersmith station and other amenities (shops, restaurants etc...) yet in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. I'll certainly come back !
The shower in the bathroom probably need a little bit of renovation but this is relatively minor.
bathroom too small, Lack of air conditioning,
value location comfort
bed a bit lumpy
It's really a lovely apartment for family or friend to enjoy their vacation in London. It's 5 minuits away from the tube station and many cafe around it.Very good.
We can't use the wifi.
Nice apartments with good facilities.
Eight flights of stairs to our apartment and our children were placed in an apartment in a separate building.
Spacious Supply of free beverages and breakfast
No instructions on how to use the TV and could not get it to work at all Noise level from apartment above Should be a light next to the entrance door that automatically comes on when approach it - security especially as I was alone
The apartment was exactly as described. The bedroom was spacious and kitchen efficiently laid out with near new whiteware. The building was secure, private and peaceful. Located midway between Heathrow and London Central. Staff were available daily next door if we had needed them. The rubbish/recycling system is excellent.
It was clean, all staff available to be confortable.
Third floor apartment which was challenging for moving all our staffs with a baby. Old house with many creeking sounds
welcoming, and very clean, nicely decorated Nice touch with the snacks and 1st days' breakfast! comfy beds too! view of back garden - peaceful! Helpful and pleasant staff. Morning coffee picked up at Rauol's deli! Excellent location to metro/buses.
Nice if you could get a towel refresh, but it was not a problem wi-fi only in common room..
That we were upgraded to a one bed apartment. The location was great. That there was a small decked garden. Staff were very helpful.
The shower head was in need of replacing and the shower tray didn't drain very well. The sink was the same. Also the sofa was broken and had a board underneath the cushions therefore very uncomfortable.
- Good location. - Helpful staff. - Large apartment. - Big windows letting in lots of sunshine.
- The one-bedroom apartment we stayed in does not look like the one in the photo. - The windows did not have an insect net (or something similar) so, although the weather in the evening was nice and cool, not being able to properly open the windows made the apartment very hot. - Stinky dish washer. Had to wash the dishes in the kitchen sink, which would be perfectly fine if it wouldn't have been so small. - Insufficient variation for cooking utensils. Several knives were provided (for butter, slicing the bread, etc), but no proper knife for cooking. - Internet access was terrible. Two wifi access points were provided. None of them worked reliably. - Bathtub was too shallow to take a proper bath. - Weak shower. The problem stemmed from the bad design of the shower head which was spreading the water too much instead of focusing it in a narrow cone. - The fan in the bathroom was working only when the lights were on. So we had to let the lights on overnight in order to dry the bathroom. - Noisy water boiler. Boiler room was next to the bedroom and I could hear it during the night. - Either the floors were too thin or the wood was too old, the end result was that we could hear walking whoever was in the room above ours. - The apartment was clean, but it could have been better. - Overall we did not feel like we were staying in a "luxury apartment" (as advertised) and the price we paid was too high for what we got.
Very good location for visiting London. Tube was close by as well as shops and restaurants.
Great location, helpful staff, great WiFi. Everything needed was provided upon arrival.
Would have liked better cookware.
Staff was amazing - very helpful and went out of their way again and again. Local shops were very friendly and helpful. Definitely check out the Saturday farmer's market a short walk away. Just far enough from everything to get some peace and quiet. Yet the Tube station (less than a nice 10 minute walk away) got me to Victoria station in 15 minutes and back and forth to Heathrow better than the Heathrow Express.
If there is a heat wave the lack of AC in the apartment might be a problem, but since a heat wave is highly unlikely I will book here every time I go to London. And be warned the dry cleaners 2 doors down takes 5-6 days to clean a shirt. (But obviously not Lamington's issue.)
The garden was lovely
Close to underground transport hub of Hammersmith and shops. Quiet, clean and beds very comfortable. One staff member was very kind in carrying our bags to the top floor apartment as we could not have managed that ourselves.
Shower head that would not stay in place. Big step to get into the bath where shower was located. The stairs to the top of the building are a negative for older people and when the fire alarm went off (toaster in neighbouring flat) it took a long time for the (false) alarm bell to be turned off - like an hour.
Beds were super comfortable. Lovely, safe neighborhood and quiet. Easy access to the Tube. We give it an A!
Could have used more hand towels and hooks, places to put things in the bathroom. One bedroom/bath lacked a waste basket.
