The position of the Lampeter Hotel is excellent for visiting the Pavillion Theatre, which is just a short walk across the Lower Gardens. The staff are very friendly and the car parking is safe.
Excellent position we had a room overlooking the park it was an ideal hotel for us close to the buses shops and sea front and as I have difficulty walking the lifts were a godsend. Good choices at breakfast and adequate portions .The staff were very friendly and helpful.
the bed was a way to soft for us but as we only had three nights was not to bad
Fantastic location.close to bic, pavilion, beach and shopping. Beautiful room overlooking garden. Great choice at breakfast. We will be back.
Very close to BIC Excellent staff nothing was too much trouble.
Comfy bed. Nice view over park.Good base and excellent position for access to international centre for conference.
Dated decor. Had to wait a while before anyone took breakfast order. Coffee not good. Bathroom very old fashioned and had an odd smell
Very clean and spacious room with comfortable beds. Tea and coffee facilities. Fantastic breakfast, esp as there is a bacon and sausage vegetarian option. Very thoughtful! Friendly waiter. Well located, close to BIC, Pavillion and shops. Would definitely return to this hotel!
Unable to open windows.
Food was good Ease of check in and out Room was attended too every day Lots and lots of hot water. Warm room nice and cosy Great location
Decor Lighting wasn't bright enough I would have like to lock my door, even though no one could get in I felt vulnerable
Central location, comfortable rooms and quality catering. ..perfect for ease of access to all Bournemouth's best features
the night time noise from the park was unavoidable and beyond their control, good try with heavy drapes
We liked the location as we were visiting the BIC
Excellent quiet location next to park - close to beach and town centre; very friendly staff; great choice for breakfast included in price!! Very comfortable room. Free Parking! Definitely book again!
Slight strange smell in bathroom...
Right in the centre of the park with direct access through the back of the hotel. We ate an evening meal in the hotel and had fabulous food. Will definitely eat here again. Can't fault our stay and will book this hotel for sure on our next visit.
There was only one lobby toilet for both make and female to use and it was quite exposed. But I'm just being picky.
Location, cleanliness, excellent breakfast particularly for vegetarians
Single rooms very small but adequate
Staff were exceptionally friendly. Fantastic location in the centre of Bournemouth with decent room sizes and free WiFi meant our stay was excellent value!!
Full English breakfast: The portion size was a little stingy - 1/4 to 1/2 a field mushroom does not constitute 'mushrooms'.
Location, Restaurant, Staff, Bar, View
Facilities to leave luggage after check out. staff very helpful.
Pillows were far too firm
Great location for BIC quiet hotel good food friendly staff overall value for money
Staff obliging, single room excellent Stayed for only one night but the total experience was value for money. Would return for a longer period
Comfortable room Nice view Great location
Stressed older member of staff serving breakfast.
The staff were excellent both in the hotel and the restaurant. Information was available from all staff regarding the hotel, parking and Bournemouth. The hotel was so convenient to all we were visiting.
The room was a little dated, but this was to be expected (price). The window would not close properly. The hot tap was loose. The bed was an unpleasant experence (needs replacing). The TV was loose in its bracket and tilted.
Our family room (for a couple and an adult child) was spacious and well-equipped, with flat-screen TV, wifi access (although we had to go to reception to request the access code), and comfortable beds. Shower was modern and powerful. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay, providing an iron and board immediately on request. Location is superb, with the bar opening directly out onto the public gardens. Very convenient for the beach, shops and the Convention Centre.
Very dated decor in public spaces and guest rooms - swirly carpets and mirror-tiled ceiling in the bar/restaurant. Had to request wifi code from reception as it was not included in the guest info book in the room.
location , restaurant and breakfast very good
Lovely big room, nice view over the park, good central location
Bar closed far too early. One member of staff was lovely. The rest just couldn't be bothered and could do with going on a customer care course.
hotel was in a excellent position right on to the park. we enjoyed a lovely meal in restaurant & a delicious breakfast in the morning. rooms was large & well keep. an enjoyable weekend.
we didn.t stay longer
Bed could do with a new mattress but ok
The hotel was very clean and the decoration in the dining room /bar was very pleasing ,would not hesitate to go back again or tell friends and family to stay there .
