Overlooking the pretty Lower Pleasure Gardens from a quiet cul-de-sac, Lampeter Hotel is a short walk from the popular seafront and center of town. Many of central Bournemouth's sights are a short walk away, and the hotel has a free private parking lot. The Beau Monde Bistro and Bar prides itself on its cuisine and is open throughout the day. A number of comfortablerooms have lovely views; all have private bathrooms. You can look out over the garden from the summer terrace and enjoy the occasional piano playing in evening. Hotel Rooms: 35

The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of all the rooms. We also liked its position backing onto the central gardens, and its proximity to all the amenities of Bournemouth - shopping, beach, pier, pavilion etc. The car park was a real bonus because of the central position of the hotel.

We booked this hotel as it was near the bic and we were here for our daughters graduation on 8th November. We arrived later than the check in time but it wasnt a problem as the gentleman was waiting for us and was very helpful. The room was lovely and we even had a balcony overlooking the park. The breakfast was great and had a good variety. I'm really sorry that we could not have stayed longer but if we ever go back to Bournemouth we will definitely stay at this hotel. We have been going back and forward from Ireland for the past 3 years as our daughter was at university and have stayed in quite a few places but none would compare to this one, wish we had known about it earlier.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The Bistro was an unexpected delight and was much nicer than any restaurant in the centre, The choice was great and the food delicious, I would certainly reccomend it.I was really with my weekend break. The decor in the hotel itself was a little dated.

I thought the hotel was first class, its location, facilities and presentation could not be faulted. The cost of the two day stay was very competitive when compared with others and its location was by far the best in the price range. I will recommend the hotel to my friends and hope to stay there again somday. I have to say that the only down side was a rather abrupt and matter of fact way in which we were greeted on arrival. A hello, welcome and a smile would have gone a long way to create a good first impression.

Location was excellent for all amenities.Staff in the restaurant were friendly. The room was quite spacious with a nice view overlooking the park. Staff on reception were not particularly welcoming and a smile would have been nice! Restaurant food was a little pricey and the cooked breakfast was not the best we'd ever had.

A friendly hotel ideally situated in the middle of Bournemouth near both shops & sea front, with excellent restaurant served by helpful staff, that appeared to have gone through some refurbishment.

We have stayed several times before and knew we would be getting a decent room in a pleasant and relaxing environment. The location is perfect for visiting the town centre or seafront, and there is adequate parking.

The location was perfect, right next to the gardens and a 5 minute walk to the beach and pier area. The breakfast was excellent because of the service and the food. The room was a comfortable size and included everything we needed. Under the bed hadn't been cleaned properly and we could hear music from nearby clubs

Perfect facilities and location for people attending bic... Which we were! Will most definately use again whenever we head to Bournemouth. Poor parking. Would be better if web-site advertised limited parking. We were just lucky we had £12.50 of change to park in the multi-storey as we hadn't thought we'd need to park off site.

The room was very clean and tidy. Decor very modern and nice. The restaurant was also very nice looking out onto the Bournemouth Gardens. The food which we had was amazing and the day menu was reasonable priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return if we ever came back to Bournemouth. The only thing was the room was a bit cold, but the thick duvets helped :-)

Fantastic location - lovely to sit outside on terrace overlooking park - very relaxing. Close to town centre for shopping & dining out. Helpful staff & nice room. At breakfast, the cleaner was cleaning the floor whilst people were eating - the smell of floor cleaner was quite over-whelming & we had to move tables. Why clean floors around people during breakfast - not good timing - people may slip on wet surface!

“Fantastic family friendly hotel with large rooms and lots of space. We had a large double room with two extra camp beds put in and still had space to swing a cat or two!! The swimming pool area is lovely and although children are only allowed at certain times it is still very family friendly. Breakfast is great and again it is family friendly, my children were very pleased to be allowed to choose their own breakfast! ” Agnes, Reading |
