In a stunning location on East Cliff, overlooking Bournemouth’s Pier and beaches, the Days Hotel Bournemouth features free parking and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 465 reviews Very good
Opened on Queen Victoria's coronation day in June 1838, the Royal Bath Hotel was the first hotel in Bournemouth. It features 3 hotel restaurants, a health spa and lovely sea views.
Score from 1757 reviews Good

Good accommodation nice clean room.and very helpful staff.hotel is close to beach and gardens.
Breakfast was a bit of a let down,no selection of fresh fruit, and the fried breakfast was unappitising.
Very, very comfortable bed, clean room, great staff, perfect location, nice looking, modern Breakfast-/Diningroom, regarding the style of the rooms (carpet, colours, door to bathroom, bathrooms in general) slightly better than similar hotels, georgeous view from the terasse into the lower gardens when having breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very good breakfast by the way. For the price absolutely satisfied. And the location is better than all the really posh hotels are placed in - I would absolutely recommend the Lampeter!
the staff were more than friendly and accommodated our needs perfectly, the restaurant staff where excellent even when our party went well beyond closing time , even though we were quite drunk. breakfast was a very pleasant time even considering our overhung state. I would recommend this lovely hotel to anyone
Very good bar and restaurant with terrace overlooking the Bournemouth balloon.
My GPS went past the hotel 4 times as the address is not in Exeter Road but up a little side road Exeter Place where there are about 4 hidden hotels. Car park can get very full and unless an early arrival you may not find a place. The shower could have done with a little more power.
The restaurant and food. Really nice and tasty.
Location, staff, especially bistro staff, terrace, price
Great location with ample parking and a good breakfast to start the day. I would stay here again.
Restaurant closed Monday , bar closed by 9pm. I'm sure things are different in summer.
Booked a twin room and were lucky enough to be given a family room. Wonderful full English breakfast with good quality sausages and bacon. Vegetarian bacon an option. Away from road so peaceful night. Very pretty outlook to Bournemouth gardens. Theatres within walking distance.
No didn't likes!
Location - very well placed for centre of town; everything is a very easy stroll. Also the room i had facing the crescent was very quiet.
Shower in room on top floor - possibly the worst i've used for a long time. You had to run around to get wet and even though little water came out, it didn't readily run away.
CENTRAL LOCATION STAFF FRIENDLY GOOD BREAKFASTS
Very good breakfast, lovely staff in Bistro Fantastic location..
Bed was a little squeaky. Woken u[ early by someone outside the window on Sunday, cleaning fire escape area.
VERY CENTRAL LOCATION
BIT RUSHED IN THE RESTAURANT IN THE MORNING
needs updating overpriced menu very tired looking
The reception - very friendly. the breakfast - a good selection, served without delay. The location: a short walk through the gardens to the beach without having to cross a road. Close to town centre shops and bus services.
The restaurant (Bistro). Food was Ok but service poor, with long delays between courses and lame excuses for the delays.
The location. Was very close to everything. Walking distance to the beach, shops, museums, theatre, restaurants and park. It had a lovely bistro attached that had a very good breakfast.
Hotel was on the back of the park and was quite noisy with late night partiers coming back at all hours. I was right next to the lift which was quite noisy as well.
Everything really. It certainly is good value for money. I like where it is situated, so central for all of Bournemouth so I don't have to keep using the car. I always try and use this hotel when visiting Bournemouth.
Nothing really. It had it all for me.
i liked the cleanliness of the rooms that the views from the rooms that we had over looked the lower park gardens and town and the balloon the breakfasts were very good and you could choose what you wanted and did not wait long as they were freshly prepared the friendly staff in the hotel and the bistro downstairs which has excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices and the view from the bistro overlooks the lower gardens would recommend this hotel to friends
The location was excellent being central to all amenities and the beach, shops and restaurants.
noise coming from the gardens below at night
Close to Gardens and beach as well as shops. Parking.
Location The room Car parking The price
The pillows Some of the breakfast waiting staff
No steps up from the Park entrance just a slope. Lovely terrace and refreshments and Restaurant although we didn't use it at night it looked lovely and mid day meals available. We will next time we are there. Very good breakfast. It is our second time staying and will again.
As I have painful back and Arthritic knees did not like the sudden stop of the second lift up to our floor. as it gives a very sudden jolt. but we got used to it once experienced and realised going to happen. Could do with more handrails up the slope up the terrace way .
The location was excellent however we were very disappointed with the noise late at night coming from what we assume was a late night hotel which went on until the early hours in the morning which kept us awake. Also the parking is beyond atrocious we had to park on the road as they were all double parked in the allocated car park. The cooked breakfast was child like in its portion size and the staff were very nonchalant and uninterested in their offer of service. Such a shame as the location and the potential of this hotel is second to none.
We found the Lampeter to be very central to Bournemouth with the Gardens right behind the hotel. We dined in the restaurant each evening and found the food to be first class also. Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay. Will be back!
Hotel was very good Very clean.Decoration high standard with interesting framed prints in communal areas Location excellent with bar /restaurant terrace over looking the central gardens Stayed two nights . Staff very efficient particularly chamber staff
This was our first visit to the Lampeter which was recommended by a friend We had poor sleep for two nights in a double room number 111 next to a fire escape with an adjacent noisy chiller/freezer constantly cutting in and out during the night
